Georgia? Isn't that where the family was originally from? WOW.

Yep. JonBenet was born in Atlanta and is buried there.

I was actually referring to the type of people who said Patsy Ramsey got what she deserved when she died.

There's a difference between thinking someone might be guilty and having convicted them in your mind and telling everyone else the person is definitely guilty.

There is NEVER an excuse for such behavior.

I have to admit Linda that I thought the Ramsey's were guilty at first myself. But I love to watch investigative reports, and I saw a couple that made me question whether they were guilty or not. Eventually I came to feel that the parents were not guilty.

I saw the same program. It got me thinking.

Very few statements that start with "If" are bold.

If all this turns out to be case closed,

Now if everything falls through, we'll just go back to not knowing.

I never read the word If.

Hmmmm. Talk about coming out of nowhere.

Count me as one of the "stupid" ones as well then.

I certainly never said she got what she deserved when she died from cancer or that I hoped she'd rot. But I did say that I thought she was guilty. However, I think I even went as far as to say that there was enough reasonable doubt in the case that if I'd been on a jury, I would have been unable to convict.

I guess I watch too much Law & Order: SVU.

I also thought that one or both of the parents were involved but I sure couldn't have convicted them based on the lack of evidence and the fact the case was botched from the get go with so many people contaminating the crime scene. I certainly feel relieved they have arrested someone for the murder especially if he has confessed to particulars that weren't made public. My belief is that he was willing to confess so he could serve time in a US prison instead of Thailand. I hope he likes solitary confinement.

I hope he doesn't get solitary confinement! People who harm children are dealt with severely by other prisoners. I think several years as someone's girlfriend is pretty good.

Yeah... I've known of several suspects in high-profile murder cases being captured there.

Really? I never knew that!

I always thought that there was a cover up of some sort. Too many questions were left, too many things done wrong by the family and the police department regarding the evidence. I hope I'm wrong and we'll finally get the truth as to what happened.

There's a difference between thinking someone might be guilty and having convicted them in your mind and telling everyone else the person is definitely guilty.

There is NEVER an excuse for such behavior.

O. J. Simpson WAS guilty... as GUILTY AS SIN! I have completely convicted him in my mind and I feel I owe nobody any apology for such "behavior". The Jury that let him off was just flat-out...as someone put it--"stupid". As far as Mrs. Ramsey, I never espoused a strong conviction one way or the other... so I can relate to clear doubt in that matter--but when there is no doubt... there just is no doubt. Never say "Never" is a good addage!

Frankly, for the family's sake, I dearly hope the DNA tests come out positive, or somehow or other this family which has endured so much suffering, is provided some well deserved closure on this tragic episode.

Yeah... I always say when he's out looking for the "real killer" he needs to look in the mirror.
