House, M.D.

If you want to see something very interesting with Hugh Laurie in one of the roles, find a DVD or check listings for an older British comedy called Black Adder. Hugh Laurie is British and when not in character for House has quite the accent. Black Adder was (IMHO) one of the funniest comedy shows for its time. Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean) was the lead actor in the series. very funny

I actually saw an episode of "Inside the Actors Studio" with him. It was so bizarre to hear him speak with an accent. I'd love to pickup Black Adder....I'm a big fan of British comedy. I still miss Ab Fab.
Hugh was also on an episode of Friends. It was the one where Rachel flew to London to tell Ross she loved him and Hugh was sitting next to her on the plane. He had the accent and only spoke a couple of lines.

Black Adder is defintely available on DVD, I've seen it in the store. you can buy all 3 'series' or individual ones. I think the best one is the second series...where they make Rowan Atkinson's Black Adder character veryyyyyy sarcastic

There's even a picture of Hugh Laurie on the home page for the show in his character get up

I don't know what to make of the finale, lol. I thought it was really good though, but have NO idea where they're going with it. I like that Cameron came around with Chase at the end. I never figured out why House fired Chase. I don't know if a spin-off would work because, in my opinion, their characters are not interesting enough on their own. I can't wait for the new season!

I've heard that everyone will be back, but it won't as it was before.
TV Guide had an interview with Omar Epps regarding last season and next season where he said he was returning next season.
So maybe House will have all new ducklings to torture. . .

Also from TV Guide:
Are new cast members in the cards as well? "We do want to open up the world a little bit," says Executive Producer David Shore. "A large chunk of the fun of the show is House relating to people and people playing off House. The broader and wider we can make that the better."
Shore says things are up in the air at the moment, but could House turning to Cuddy’s bevy of students for answers in the finale be a clue as to what and whom viewers can expect to see by his side next season?.
Yesterday's Ausiello :
Question: Now, can we finally get some scoop on some decent shows… like House?
Ausiello: ... As will House, which wrapped up its third season last night with a major staff shake-up — and executive producer Katie Jacobs is promising big changes. "Next season will be different," she told USA Today. "We're not saying who is coming back and who is not, just that it'll look very different."

Re: House, M.D.
Last night's episode was WAY over the line. I know House is supposed to be eccentric but sticking a knife in the socket so you can experience what death is like? He wouldn't be treating patients anymore and would be in a padded cell somewhere. I know he is bitter and his lack of faith is a part of House but I also have a feeling someone has an agenda. This episode left me cold and they better get back to the formula because what I see isn't better than the original cast.

cookiely - you are probably right as the last thing House said was "He was wrong" about the young man that believed. I hadn't given it alot of thought but now that you mention it...
I did see where the other guy that left (sorry - I am not good with names) was fired at the end of this episode so maybe that means he will be coming back to House.

They will all be back, but not as House's ducklings. I think they have decided that it is time for the House's original "ducklings", Cameron, Chase and Foreman, to move on in their careers.

I agree they may be working in their own departments in the hospital just like Wilson.
