I ate a donut after church right before catching the Mardi Gras parade. First time I ate a donut in months! I knew we would not be eating lunch until late because of the Mardi Gras parade. So, I ate one to hold me up until then.

Yep, it somewhat melts and mixes with the eggs to make them creamy. :)

Very overpriced coffee (and no free refills!) and a medium bran/raisin muffin from the Old School Bakery in downtown Delray Beach, which used to have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating across from the old school (now community center of arts). It was forced to move to a tiny hole-in-the-wall further east near the intracoastal canal, squeezed between two bars (no indoor seating, crummy alleyway outdoor seating, less clean, higher prices). They apparently were rental-priced out of the previous location (which now houses yet another upscale restaurant). This is very sad; the Old School Bakery was Caribbean-owned and used to have the best coffee, bread, baked goods, salads, and sandwiches for worthwhile prices on (highly "trendy") Atlantic Avenue.

Sorry for climbing up on my soapbox -- more info than anyone wanted know, I'm sure.

:uarrow: Alice -- what's in Four Red Fruits tea? Also, is it herbal or caffeine?

I had a half cup of flax/soy/bran/dried blueberries cereal with low-carb milk at 7 a.m., plus a banana at my 10:15 break. :)

It is flavored black tea; the four red fruits are cherries, red currants, raspberries, and strawberries. If you prefer herbal tea, Twinings also makes one called Sunset Rose that is my absolute favorite. It's decaffeinated and has hibiscus, cinnamon, ginger, peppermint, orange peel, rosehips, and rose petals.

:uarrow: Thanks -- they both sound delicious! I've seen various Twinings cartons at local stores, but don't recall seeing Four Red Fruits. I'll start my search tomorrow. :P
