Hi!!!

Beautiful day here today in my corner of the world!!I have to laugh I actually have a bit of time all to myself...thought I would stop on by the stove and visit since it's been a lonnnnnnggggggg time since my last drive by stove check in :D

It's soooooo good to see you all again, smiles abound, love and laughter too...good food for the spirit and soul!!

DJ....fella, it's been a span of time... things are looking up for you I see....happy I am to see that, I never stopped saying prayers for you...I rejoice to see that they have been answered...take good care and have the happiest of Thanksgivings...you deserve all that and more :D

snowman....geesh you are an accident waiting to happen :D Here's to all your bones, aches, pains and such being healed and right fast at that...give my hello's to your wife!

furry gal*****hugs**** :D

We got our new puppy last thursday, we'll have him for about a year and then he goes back to the seeing eye association for formal training. His name is Fisher and the root cause of my latest bout of sleep deprivation :D He's a sweetie and is nearly housebroken already....YAY!!! Our youngest daughter is his trainer tho' we all have a hand in his education.I think Sinje would be proud and pleased of our decision to open our home to a fellow canine.

All from this fellow stovian...gonna check out some thread and see what I have been missing these last weeks!!

To one and all....may blessings from Heaven flow down upon you and those you love!!!

Take good care!!

Raine :D

PS:Oh dear David.....I have a chocolate KK here.....I'll split it with ya! :D

what kind of bike is it? If I'm not being too nosey - I watch those motorcycle shows on Discovery - american chopper mostly....

Marty & I LOVE watching American Chopper. The father and two sons are hysterical! The bikes (choppers) they make are absolutely amazing!

Marty has a Kawasaki Vulcan. The first bike he ever had was a Honda Shadow.

I guess being in Duluth, Blizzard, would make anyone want to store their bike away in the winter too.

Enjoy the snow Raine! Glad to see you stop by!

Sounds like you have the same weather as us up north here. We'll be in the mid-40's for the next few days and then inching up into the 50's for the holiday.

Yumm!!!! Thanks Raine!! That chocolate KK was WONDERFUL!!! What a blessing you and your family are to this world!! What a wonderful example for your children and friends!!! I am blessed to have met you and know you.

Now, Dennis don't eat ALL the turkey!!! Leave some for me!!! No fair starting early!!! Be careful with those ribs and drive careful. I see where your weather has been a might cool and looks like slick precipitation I've been seeing on that radar.

DJ, welcome back to the PBS. Looks like you guys are as "cold" as we are. Looking forward to getting back up to 60º today with another slight cool down scheduled for Wednesday. The weekend progs out to be a wonderful one weatherwise, foodwise and familywise. Hope it holds!!

Well since I am sneaking this ina t work I better get back to the grindstone!!

If I don't see ya till the weekend HAVE A FABULOUS TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!!!!!

Just stopping in quickly to warm up (it was a chilly 32 degrees this morning and is only supposed to get up to 45 degrees for a high temp today), and to say "Hi" to all gathered around the PBS. I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving. My wife (Jane) and I will be heading up to her parents' house on Thursday morning and we look forward to enjoying a fine feast with her family. We will likely stay until Friday morning, then (weather permitting) I plan to start adorning the house and some of the outside trees/shrubbery with Christmas lights. 8-)

I wish everyone a terrific Tuesday. :)

Your welcome dear David!!How is the job going?! Janell sends her hello's too...we are heading up to NYC next saturday..when we talk about our trip she always says....remember when we met David....he was soooooo much fun!! :D

Awwwwww shucks snowman....thanks for the hugs!! :D Have a great thanksgiving celebration fella!

Last night I got my first taste of cold wet weather on the ramp at the airport....my gosh but it was COLD!! We had some sleet and a wee bit of snow..wind was blowing so hard it about knocked me off my feet!!Still when I think back to last year this time I get a bit sad..last year we had some snow on the ground....I wonder if you can order snow for Christmas?

All for now....dragging hubby out in a bit to buy some paint.I decided that before we begin decorating for Christmas we need to repaint the living room and dining room!!

Have a wonderful night and a blessed Thanksgiving should I not get back in here to say so before the Holiday!!

Blessings, Raine

Good Morning!

I've got the ol Pot Belly STOKED to the hilt this morning.....it's 19° with a COLD North breeze a blowin' @ 18 MPH, talk about PERFECT snowman weather "LOL!" Only ONE little problem, no SNOW! Soon..........

Raine, your very welcome and here's another {{{HUG}}} There's nuthin' better than a hug! PAINTING??? I'd much rather take a beating with a big stick, fight a Grizzly Bar (bear) in hand to paw combat then PAINT!

David....sounds like the job is going great for ya!

YUP....it was a LOOOONG day, 348 miles round trip, the holiday traffic on I-40 was HORRIBLE....plus, we stopped in Flagstaff and hit the mall, Kohls, Target, Micheals, Peir 1, Barnes and Noble BookStore, NAU'S Bookstore AND NAU'S School of Forestry for some info to help in a environmental impact study we're doing, needless to say, my tail feathers were DRAGGIN' when we got home.

Well......we're off to WalMart to hit the groceries before the *rest of the world* goes shopping, we always wait until the Weds before turkey day to buy the *fresh* stuff, veggies, green onions for my Shrimp Aspic. So......I'll stop by later to warm up!

One quick stop by the PBS to take the chill off this Thanksgiving Morning! It's a BALMY 21° at the moment with a NORTH WIND HOWLIN' @ 23 gusting to 31 MPH.....sure makes it feel like the holidays!

Have a BLESSED day!
