mike dont' feel bad...I haven't had the chance to catch my nose today...its been running and running and running. Yes, I know...sarcasm is the trick with this, but I've tried and tried and tried to catch the boogers that have a running start! Its the massive change in weather patterns that put me under the weather!

I have managed to stay rather healthy, which is a shock considering my stomach condition. I don't suffer from allergies, which everyone around here tells me are killers this year.

It is a beautiful morning and it looks like it should be a beautiful afternoon as well. You gotta love it!

Have a great day everyone,
Garrett :)

garrett, mine aren't usually that bad. Yesterday they were horrible at night...and this morning, I have them, but not as bad as yesterday.

Already 62* in Green Bay :D warming up to a high around 78*. Showers and Thunderstorms are likely tonight.

Hiya folks,

Well I have to add my list of ailments to the conversation. I have bad flu and feel like death raked over coals. BLAHHHH I will trade your runny nose for my stuffed up one, at least I will be able to breath for a short bit. I feel like I am suffocating and cant sleep! Now that I have moaned my moans.

The weather has been fantastic here, went fishing on Sunday and all I managed to catch was a big fat catfish (yuck, slimy bugger) and a ray. Nothing for the table. *sigh* well I'll catch em next week!!!!!

Good day all. Hope everyone's aches and pains get better.

Wx here is kicking the Flu season into high gear.Warm to 90s and sun and Pollen..alergies galore.Overnight we had winds G to 44mph with Rain occurring now and only 47F!hehe Typical Wacky Western Wx.Snowing to beat the band up at the Grand Canyon..I would imagine the Mogollon Rim as well near Dennis.White Gold for Skiiers.
Amazi..Catfish is very very good eatin'.I love it Peppered and Rolled in Corn crumbs, butter pan fried up on a Po' Boy roll!Yummmmy!
Rays..I caught many of them.Relative to the Shark..which I BB-Q on the Mesquite Grill w/LemonButter&Tarragon..after cutting the Steaks. It seems you may have been fishing the Intercoastal Waterways or back Channels.
Possibly Surf.Thats where the Big 'Channel Cats' hang. The Mullit are not edible either.
I lived in Coral Gables in the early/mid 70s..U Miami. We used to fish Matheson Hammock to Biscayne Bay to Key Largo. On weeekends I studied/researched at the Ocean Science remote campus on near Lone Pine Key off the 7mile bridge past Marathon.I fished the Bridges to the Coral Reefs..Lots of Shark!I got a Beut of a White Tip,had him for Lunch.
Scallops,Lil Lobsters,Stone Crab and Speared some Barracuda while snorkling. The 'Cuda under 3.5 feet long are Poisonous..they nip on the Corals and become very toxic.Careful!Over 4 ft..chop em and deep fry em.Safe.
The Strawberry Grouper were offshore with the Spanish Mackeral where we would go to Bimini on ocassion in the Bermuda Triangle. The Game fish are out there Marlin,etc..my dad hauled a 7ft Sailfish out and some nice Tuna back in
'71.
Used BallyHoo for bait and a steel leader..Squid will work with Grouper..they are fat little pigs!

LOl DJ,

I love fishing, and had a blast fishing down key-west way in December. I dont like eating any member of the skate or ray family, I find the flesh way to rubbery for my palate. As for cat fish, I dont like to eat them either. I was not using drift bait, so the buggers kept on eating my shrimp off the floor. (serves me right, to lazy to change my rig) I caught a nice big parrot fish in the key's which as you should know can make you very sick if it is not gutted properly. THANKS for the surprise..... I LOVE A GOOD PARTY!

Gorgeous afternoon shaping up here. I love Spring!

Looks like some severe weather will rolling across the Midwest. More details on that in USA Wx. Forum.

Have a great afternoon everyone!

Good afternoon everyone!

My allergies kicked in a couple days ago. They probably could be worse, but I have them nonetheless. At times, it makes you feel like you have a cold.

Weatherwise, it is 80 degrees here. Just heard it is 77 in Boston. The record high for Boston is 82 set back in 1896! This happening just days after afternoon high temperatures have been in the 40s and 50s across southern New England. Boston's record high temperatures for April 14th and April 16th are 58 (81 degrees) and 27 years ago (82 degrees), respectively.

See everyone around Storm2K. :D

Sorry about your alergies Tom.

I know what you mean about the heat after the cold. We broke a record high yesterday...just a few days ago we broke a record low. What gives!?

Good evening everyone! :D

I need to go back and read several pages of this thread to catch up. I haven't had much time to go online the last few days so I haven't been able to pop on storm2k very often. We've had beautiful weather here lately and I've taken advantage of it.

Well, I'm going to check out some other posts.

See ya'll later.

Well today, the sinus infection got WORSE plus a hacking cough at times. I've been feeling a little warm to hot (cannot find a thermometer) but I'm quite sure I've ran a fever today. This isn't good at all and if tomorrow I still am feeling this miserable, that's it, I'm going to the doctor, and screw this window training. (I didn't want to work the window anyway - so I look at it two ways - A temporary saving grace but at the same time - my recording session time (in the studio) has been postponed until my health and voice come back)...

Thanks, Garrett. :) My allergies never got that bad and usually do not.
They haven't been too bad today; didn't have to take a Sudafed today.

Mike, more good luck your way for your sinus affection. :)

Was a pleasant, cooler than many parts of the U.S. today here in Sunshine State. It only made it into the low 80s. Currently, 68 degrees.

Hi all. We had a final total of 2.48 inches of rain from yesterday's rain event. Got down to the upper 40s for a low and the low 60s for a high. It is currently 55.2; and we are expecting more rain Thursday! :D

12 days until my birthday and I'm getting pretty excited. Can't wait for the money and computer upgrades that I'll be getting! :D

It was a pretty good day at work except for a couple of mistakes that I made. Oh well, tis part of the learning process.

That is all for today, c u! Joshua

Thanks, Tom ... at least right now, a temporary repreive from the ailment but my head feels like a swollen bowling ball or something along the likes.
Otherwise, it was 79º today, and currently 59º. I bought some Claritin, have been using a nose spray, a saline solution, and Scope for the throat (which hasn't really bothered me - just the coughing here and there) after trying to fight it with nothing yesterday and Sunday night. If it gets better by tomorrow morning I'll be happy, but I'm not betting on it. I think a trip to the doctor to get a prescription for Amoxicillin is in order.

Join the club! I barely made it into classes this afternoon. I had to take a make-up midterm (to get points added onto Midterm #2) and my professor asked why I was in class! I has hacking at a good clip. I talked to her afterwards and said that I wasn't going to be in the 1pm class. (The make-up was right before the normal class) I took a 3 hour nap til I had to work...and that made my coughing worse! That in part, lead to no voice! Yes, you heard me right...my voice is just about gone. I'm currently taking Theraflu and will make an early bedtime tonight. I had a shot of Amaretto, so I'm hoping that helps.

until dark, then, my brother shined the Jimmy headlights so we
could finish planting! Hmmm....there's alot more
space in that garden...I think it's "gardening time". here! :D
