Hope you don't mind if I warm up a bit. We're suppose t ohave record lows on the 25th. Anywhere from 25 to 50 below zero. So if you going out stay clear of Northern Minnesota.

Thanks for the warning Firefighter, maybe you should be starting a fire instead of putting one out....lol

Too late for me though, I'm stuck. Hope the car starts in the am.

I will be doing the same if I can bring myself to go out into the cold to do it. My remote starter doesn't seem to want to work here.

Aftermarket..... Can't afford the pre-installed ones. By the way they are a real pain in the @$$ to install. I tried and gave up. Brought it into the shop to get done. Gotta love the electronics in the newer vehicles.....yeah right....lol

How many clams for that?
I was thinking about installing one but
I was afraid I couldn't afford it so I didn't
even check it out.

Its cold and wet here in Texas...

#588 Postby Guest » Tue Feb 25, 2003 8:51 am

Going to through another log on the PBS - gather around Stovians and warm up - its quiet chilly out there day.

Ran into some sleet this morning driving to work - hitting the windshield - other than that event - its been rain with thunderstorms. Ground is already so everything is saturated.

Well I made some Hot Cocoa - so if anyone wants a cup - I leave the marshmellows and whip cream to top it off with..

Firefighter - where are you from ?? That sounds COLD. Stay warm ...

Ticka I hope you get your snow dear (i know how dissapointing it can be when everyone N,E,W,S of you is getting interesting weather and your left in the lurch  )

I'll pass on the hot chocolate thanks, but I will take a dollop of cream in my coffee.......aaaahhh just the way I like it. If you others dont hurry up and take the rest of the cream I will run off with the whole lot (I love cream!)

It is rather overcast here today, but it is nice and warm 57f already.

I am so lazy this morning, I dont think I am going to get much accomplished...

Well have a great day all (ticka I really hope you get some snow, maybe tonight?)

I can't believe that February is almost over...where did the time go??? Only 2 more weeks til my birthday!!!

Ticka, that hot chocolate tastes wonderful, it really warms the soul.

Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone

A little cloudy and low 70's for today. I'll take some of that hot chocolate if you don't mind (maybe a little schnapps in it as well) Strictly for medicinal purposes of course. Slowly but surely we're headed for the hurricane season. Everyone get your hurricane kits together and your season predictions ready! Looks like it could be a busy busy season this year!

Afternoon everyone! College cancelled today AGAIN...we will wait and see about tomorrow. It is only supposed to get to 19 here today, which is a heat wave compared to some of ya'lls weather, but not warm enough for melting when it is cloudy.

I think I better put another log on the fire and warm for a while. At least I have some time to finally catch up around here. Been busy and hectic for the last 5 days or so.

Hello everyone!

A chilly day today but NO SNOW to report. NEVER any snow to report!
I have been begging all winter for snow and I have watched it reach just to my north, to my northwest, and to my west and even once to my east, but not even a flurry here. What does a girl have to do?????

Thanks for the concern wxbuddies

I was rooting for you guys to get some snow, but with each passing week it appears less and less likely! Maybe next year...you can hope at least.

Good evening, everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm and dry -
it's definitely been a messy day, weatherwise. We had snow and
slick roads, this morning, then sleet, then back to snow, then, it
had melted by sundown. Tomorrow promises to be a repeat of the
same scenario!

Glad you made that doc appointment, Southerngale - now, you
KNOW that I'll want a full report!

Garrett, I thought I'd get a snow day from work, but, alas...
no way! LoL!

Everyone have a good evening!
