Yes, that is how Zyban works. You smoke for 10 days with it, then stop immediately.
During those ten days, you are supposed to cut down a little each day, until you are down to a couple a day. Then you just quit.

Been off the site for awhile.

I smoke about 2 packs a day. Camel Lights. Price...depends on where I get it.

Carton at Hess a little more than $24.00 with tax (I live in SC) a 3 pack special at Circle K is $8.12 with tax and a 2 pack special at Hess is about $5.60

Camel does send me $3.00 of/carton coupons from time to time which brings it down to a little more than $21.00

gtalum and regit:

Many people now rent wheels for their cars; many people take out loans on their car titles to buy a Television; many people living in Section 8 (gov't subsidized) housing around here drive brand new Ford Explorers, etc...for which they have to pay large gas bills to boot.

I am with Cookiely, my parents taught me to keep my mouth shut unless I have something nice to say. That is not to say you aren't entitled to your opinion but it is out of place.

Many around here will also spend thousands on a stereo system in their car while they are on welfare.

If I work 40+ hours/week, pay for my own insurance (both health and automobile), pay for my own gas (for which I DO have the right to complain about the price just like veryone else is...I'm sure you are complaining about it too...), make my house payments, credit card payments, etc and want to enjoy a cigarette which is a LEGAL item to buy as well as beer (also LEGAL)...then... in this country I have every right to do so and I have the right to complain about gas prices!

Another forum I am on has a "User Ignore" button...that would be nice here as well.

Rant over.

No one ever covered this topic in this thread...

What is the legal smoking age where you live?

Ontario: 16 to smoke, 19 to buy cigarettes

Most provinces are 19 to buy, but Quebec is 18.

Skydancer smokes $16.99 a carton. They're manufactured by our native Americans so fed taxes don't apply. :D

Janice I read an article once about this habit and its more dangerous to your lungs to relight the cigarette. Trouble is I can't remember exactly why.

I've pretty much stopped smoking. When I went to see my father in CO two weeks ago I used nicotine lozenges. I only had one cigarette while I was out there and I figured I may as well keep going. I still have some extra packs left, which in NJ is like gold. I have one or 2 a day now and have bought alot of gum and mints as well. :)

The tar/nicotine builds up in the filter and is HIGHLY concentrated (or at least that's what I've heard, makes sense) but I do the same thing, I'll puff on one for a few minutes, put it out then go back later and relight it!

NOW....do you smoke in the house? Me? NO......funny thing, I LOVE smoking, especially after a meal, with a beer but I CANNOT stand the SMELL of smoke in the HOUSE "YUK!" I do smoke in the cars and it smells like poo-poo  and I CANNOT STAND being next to someone who SMOKES either....especially at the casino, someone will light up and just let it burn.
