Yep, she's not the princess anymore, maybe the queen. She needs to get back on track immediately if she doesn't want to end up like Anna Nicole Smith or Marilyn Monroe. For her kids I hope the best to her. By the way, Britney has become the only artist that we know every single day what she is doing. There's something wrong right there.

What's worse than news that David Spade may have knocked up a 22-year-old Playboy Playmate?
News that Britney Spears may be expecting another child, that's what!

Talk about upstaging her sister!

Photos (reportedly taken by Brit's pap boyfriend's agency) of Britney shopping for a home pregnancy test have surfaced on the Internet and are circulating full force.

The photo, taken just a few days ago, shows the potentially knocked-up songstress holding a home pregnancy test while shopping at Rite Aid with her new beau.

Whether Brit-Brit actually purchased the pregnancy test is still up in the air, but could she really be pregnant with Adnan's baby?

Say it ain't so.

Is there a shortage of birth control in Hollywood these days or what?

Losing your kids because the judge doesn't think you're fit to be a mother isn't a sign to go out and get knocked up for the third time.

Can someone please explain this to the pop wreck?

Clearly she's missing the point.

Take a look at the picture - do you think Brit's knocked up again?

How does this qualify as news? Somebody please explain this to me.

:uarrow: This thread was created when rumors surfaced a few weeks ago. Back then it was her sister but now the rumor surfaces again and that's why it's news.

That doesn't look like Britney Spears to me, and I saw the other pictures (out of sheer boredom).

HAHA, yeah it doesn't to me either. Weird. I guess the paparazzi which follows her everywhere would know though.

According to ET, she's been trying for 2 weeks to get pregnant, so if she's not pregnant now, she will be soon.

And all the world will cry in despair if she does.

Assuming, she is pregnant, it can't be really good for her mental health she is in.

Top US psychologist: 'Spears will be dead in six months'
18/01/2008 - 1:57:07 PM

A top US psychologist has declared Britney Spears will be dead in six months if she doesn't get the treatment she needs for a chronic mood disorder cyclothymia.

Dr. Lillian Glass has gone public with her diagnosis in the hope Spears will read her warning comments and seek medical aid.

The renowned Beverly Hills doctor tells America's Globe: "Unless Britney is locked away or put into a treatment program, she is going to die in six months - or even sooner.

In my opinion, she suffers from cyclothymia, a chronic mood disorder in which short periods of mild depression are followed by short periods of hypomania.

That explains why one minute she can appear perfectly sane and the next she's exhibiting totally crazy behaviour."

Dr. Glass tells the publication: "She's definitely a candidate for suicide if she isn't treated immediately."

The diagnosis goes some way to explain why Spears suffered an apparent meltdown at her home on January 4, when she locked herself and her baby son in a bathroom at the end of a visitation term and refused to come out for three hours.

The pop star was committed to hospital for a psychological evaluation after the stand-off with police and paramedics.

Spears' erratic behaviour continued this week when she fled a Los Angeles courthouse after refusing to testify in a crucial custody hearing.

As a result, she lost visitation rights to her two young sons until the next hearing on February 19.

Must people criticize her behavior but in my opinion it's clear that mentally she is not right. She needs help as soon as possible.

It's easy to criticize but if the person is not mentally stable, you should expect an erratic and bizarre behavior. Just like what we have seen.

Cyclothymia?

The description sounds no different than "Bipolar Disorder" ... previously known as "Manic Depression."

What's the deal? Do the get kickbacks from the Pharma companies for inventing new diseases periodically?

Cyclothymia is a mood disorder. This disorder is a milder form of bipolar II disorder consisting of recurrent mood disturbances between hypomania and dysthymic mood. A single episode of hypomania is sufficient to diagnose cyclothymic disorder; however, most individuals also have dysthymic periods. The diagnosis of cyclothymic disorder is never made when there is a history of mania or major depressive episode or mixed episode (as told in "Blueprints in Psychiatry" - "mood disorders").

I agree that if she doesn't get treatment (and it doesn't seem like she wants it) that she'll either commit suicide, or die in a drink / drug induced car accident or something similar.

Very rarely people with mental problems will admit to their problems. She would probably have to be forced to get help and her family seems to be absent from her life. At the end the two little boys would be the most affected.

So does Reuters. Usually, they have a person whose responsibility is to keep updated the biographies of movie stars, politicians, world leaders, or the infamous for their obituaries just in case . . .

It's not an invented disease. Cyclothymia is a mild version of bipolar disorder, which a few of my relatives actually have.

Bipolar Disorder and Cyclothymia, like many other mental illness tend to occur in people who are in their 20s. It can appear in their teenage years, but rarely. Britney Spears really needs to disappear from the public's eye for some time. Many people with mental illness do not want to admit they are suffering from one. We have a long way to go when it comes to mental health. There is another well known actress who stopped acting because of Bipolar Disorder, Kristy McNichols, who is considered one of the most popular teen actors.
