coldfront - Good to see you back! I started wondering about you too. Doing okay? By now you may have read the thread about Rob's computer crash.

You Floridians, enjoy that thunder now 'cuz by July you'll be reaching for the Advil! :D

woohoo! we are soooooooooooooo close to 30* that I can taste it! Everyone here is pretty jazzed about the warm spell... no one is wearing jackets :)
Though... I think they will come to their senses after a few minutes...

The girl is out sunbathing on the frozen lake again today... it may be a growing trend... it looks like she brought a few friends along with her... of course... if we start getting close to 32* more often, I wouln't venture out there myself... I'm a fraidy cat of falling in even though the ice is still a good 20" thick.

Ooh, I remembered to bring Graham Crackers, Chocolate, and Marshmallows for the gang today. It's been awhile since we've done s'mores. (And yes, I did bring extra chocolate so we don't run out this time should people decide to sneak an extra piece ;) )

Anyone have a good scary story for tonight?

We look like Ghosts up here, fake and bake tanning is the only way we will be ready for the summer. But once a heat wave comes (like in this instance) we are fighting for a position on the ice.

As for January and February...I don't know, but all I know is my birthday is FAST approaching!

Whooooo! Lord have mercy! :ggreen:

It got up in the 40's, here, today!

I didn't even wear a coat to work. Gator, that gal is a brave
soul! She's got antifreeze in her blood! :o

Thanks for bringing the s'mores! We were so busy in the office,
I never made lunch today, nor dinner tonight, so far! I'm starving!

Firefighter, you keep the fire going, wxbuddy - I appreciate it!

Good to see Dennis posting, again. Those snow totals in the White Mountains of AZ are awesome. Bless his heart, he just tilled the garden a month or so ago....it'll be ready to till, again, in a month or so!

Ya'll have a good evening. TGIF! Finally...! :ggreen:

Evening everyone. After a busy day at the college speech tournament it started misting and all of these old ladies starting freaking out and left. It was a big mess. Oh well...we made it through! :)

I'll throw a log on the fire and say goodnight. Have a great weekend everyone!

Get it? huh? Get it?

Not much to report from Houston. We still are "cold" here, at least for this time of year. The high today was 51f. Usual is like 65f or so. BTW, is there something called the sun? All I've seen for a week is grey above me! :grrr: Can you say DREARY!! And now the weekend is here and we still aren't expecting any warmup! :grrr:

:37: IT IS TIME FOR SPRING!! :37:

I'll throw a couple of logs on the fire to keep it warm in here. I'm starting to feel a little chill. Could someone pass some hot chocolate?

There you go Dave. Ya I wish it was 51f up here. I think our high in MN. is
going to be around 24f. Just last week we hit -25f. Ya I think 51 would be nice. Enjoy your hot coco.

Morning everyone. Still cloudy here.

Vbhoutex... I know what you mean about the sun. It almost came out for a brief second yesterday and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at it as if it were some foreign object hanging in the sky.

Jacki... don't work too hard today!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Well good morning! Thanks to the cloud cover and flurries, I am still at home! I have to call in at noon and see if business has picked up, but if the weather doesn't change, there is a good possibility I will have a Saturday off after all! Clouds and cold don't leave too much to do so expect to see me in here throughout the day, in between doing some cleaning and laundry! Have a Sensational Saturday!

Vbhoutex and Wx247....... hang in there, the sun will EVENTUALLY come out! Let it be SPRING!
