Evening, all! Hope everyone is doing well. Dennis is getting his
much-needed precip, and poor Jacki had to work...LoL...sorry,
Jacki! I've been in the Emergency Dept. with my Mom, all day -
pain in her ribs, kept her up all night, but, they couldn't find
anything wrong, so, it's probably her arthritis kicking in real good.
She got some meds that eased the pain, so, I just called her,
and, she is catching up on "chores"... LoL...that means that
she is feeling better...! :ggreen:

Ya'll have a good evening...I'm gonna wander over to Chat and
see what's goin' on!

Hey everyone. Just got back from a benefit concert for a friend of mine. We raised $5,622 for her! I was so shocked at that amount. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, turnout was still high!

I am exhausted and so I think I will head off to bed soon, but first I think I will add a log or two to the PBS and sit around it and relax.

Keep the logs a-comin'... more cold weather is just on the horizon... *sigh*

Right now its +35*... but the low tonight is supposed to be -35*

I'm getting grumpy just thinking about having to adjust to a temperature fluctuation of this magnitude... :?

Winter isn't loosening its death-grip just yet... :grrr:

(Thank goodness that chopping firewood is such a good stress reliever...)

Thanks for the chat last night... hopefully I'll be able to be around for more of them in the future... and someday even have a request played by the ghost... ;)

See y'all around laters.... I'm off to work...

Congrats SouthernGale!

I just came back in for halftime ME against my sisters in a game of College Hoops...

The score is 15-12 in favor of me, but just barely. It is so nice to be out in the sun again. It is 37 here, but with the sun out and pretty calm winds it feels fabulous.

Afternoon everyone,

Another day of rain for us here in NE FL. Not living up to it's name this state!!!! NOT so sunshine state, i think it has been raining on and off for the last 3-4 days now, It really is getting to me now.

Of course it is bike-week, so I have to put up with one heck of a noise, shame but I feel bad for the bikers has not been very nice for them here weather wise. Hopefully the STJ will go away for awhile so we can at least get some sun down here!

Hope you are all having a good weekend!

Well, the nice weekend temperatures just had to come to an end...bummer. Currently, we are sitting at 10* in Green Bay! Surprisingly, it doesn't feel that bad outside. No winter jacket today either...just my fleece. I don't have antifreeze running through my veins, I'm just accustom to the cold weather that we have been having...I don't let the temperatures bother me.

I can't believe its March already...were did January and February go? Spring Break is in a few weeks.

#21 UWGB Lady Phoenix beat Wright State yesterday in a version of payback (Wright State is the only team that beat us (UWGB) during conference play!) So, by a long shot, UWGB Lady Hoopsters won the Conference and are headed into the Horizon League tourney as the #1 Seed. And the Horizon League tourney is in Green Bay too! So good luck to all the teams in the tourney...the Sports Center is a hard place to beat the UWGB Ladies.

Also on the Basketball note, the Badger men's team beat Minnesota in Minneapolis. That is another hard place to win if you are a visiting team. I saw the last 5 minutes of the game...excellent show of defensive domination. Low scoring games usually go in Wisconsin's favor.

Dennis...glad to see you're back at that the Crazy Liberals didn't win their court case about the Rodeo-Chediski fire.

Garrett...good luck on the hoops game.

Hi everyone! Home from an EXHAUSTING day at work! It was one of those days that make you wish you never had to go back! No one was in a good mood today, I'm just sooooo glad I'm home! The Cold is biting me today! And it is 25* here, but the winds are whipping like crazy which makes it feel much colder, I think I'm just so tired it affected me more. Well, hope everyone has a good evening!

Good evening, all! It's 30F and...you guessed it...cloudy, here.
Tomorrow holds the promise of seeing the sun for the first time
since February 14th! People are depressed...even my houseplants
are starting to show stress. Got my house cleaned, today -
joy-oh-joy...LoL...*squinting my eyes*...looks like I forgot to clean
the computer screen!

Jacki, glad ya made it home from a hard day at work - scooch up
to the stove and have a KK! :ggreen:

Congrats on the posts, Southerngale, you 'ole Guru...

Ya'll have a good evening!
