Shannon - can you say, "combat wounds"???
LoL, you been beat up, girl - do take it easy!

Crouton is a well-fed pot-belly piggie - brought up on
KK's - usually gets everyone's KK's just because she's
spoiled! Likes the front porch, too - lays and basks on
the sunny side of the porch! :D

Ya'll have a good evening!

Evening peeps

Shannon you remember RICE! Rest Ice Criculation Elevation. Being a dancer with calf muscles bigger than most mens I feel for ya girl! STAY OFF IT for awhile if you can, oh and Arnica oil is fantastic to get the circulation going.

David me ol Shower cap pal, I am brown like a piece 'o crispy fried chicken.

For those of you who know my saga with the lawyers trying to get my visa renewed for a year, is not going well. I got a phone call yesterday requesting more documentation, which means they have not even submitted our papers to the INS office  I was told they were to be submitted last month! Anyway I am getting really really nervous now because we have to be out of the country by August 1st if the papers are not approved. I am having many sleepless nights, and my future is looking rather hazy right now. Which I do not like! However the sky pilot (My Lord and saviour) knows best and the situation is in his hands. So if I can ask you my friends just to remember my family in your prayers, I would greatly appreciate it.

Night all :)

Thanks Bronni...for the ideas. Anyways, I hope everything is resolved shortly. Hopefully August 1st doesn't come to fast.

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is had a fine Tuesday. I had a chance to go out with my parents and a couple from across the street today for an errand to Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse (household related, of course). They ate at Cracker Barrell for dinner. Needless to say, I was home alone from 3:30pm to 7:30pm Eastern. I wanted to go in one sense and then basically changed my mind, it would have been somewhat boring; aside from dinner out.

Ouch, Shannon. I hope your calf isn't in too bad shape and your right arm and left leg improve quickly.

I remember Bob Child stopping by over at the TWC Off Topic forum, that was very nice of him. That was around the time he was on TWC on weekends and I assume weekdays at one of the Charlotte, North Carolina affilates.

Bron, I was wondering about you having to leave the U.S. Hopefully all goes well by August 1st. I wish you a lot of luck. I am very glad I met you here at Storm2K. :D

A Wonderful Wednesday to all! 8-)

AW, Sandi!!!! Puhleeeeaaaassssseeeeee!!!!!! *vb squints his eyes as he pleads* I mean, come on, were both Gulf Breezers, the difference is you live there. What are friends for except tp give each other KK's?

Shannon, it sounds like you went to a war today, not a swimming class!!! :o  :11: Take care of that leg and do what Dr. Bron told ya!!

Bron, I'll ramp up those prayers another notch for ya!!! As you said it is in the Lord's hands and we must have faith!!! On the positive side of going back, if there could be one, is the fact that Storm2k would become truly international!

BTW, has anyone seen spring? It appears to be lost here in Houston!! Our high was 93º today!! Unfortunately we have seen this pattern before here and it is called HOT AND DRY!!! I WANT SPRING BACK!!!! :x :x

EVERYONE HAVE A WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!

Bron- I will pray for you too! It is as you said though, God knows what is best and we have to have faith in the outcome!
Shannon- Finals are like graduation to me!! I have about 3 years left and I get excited when any class is done and over! Keep on trucking and TAKE CARE!!
The weather here is wonderful VB!! 63 degrees this morning and breezy!! OK, I will share my KK's with you! :P

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!!

Howdy folks,

Beautiful day here today. Low RH so it is nice, warm and comfortable. I dont think it is going to stay that way for to long before the humidity comes creeping back.

Thanks so much for the prayers and thoughts peeps. Means loads to me. Unfortunately, David if we do have to go back I will not have internet access at all. It is just to expensive there, as you have no free local calls and get charged by the minute, so I am afraid it would mean the end of Storm2k for me. I refuse to let it get me down though, and will do my best to make our situation work. It is a great comfort to know our situation is in the Fathers hands and I have great friends like you guys to pray for us.

Well peeps I am off to remove the dreaded melted crayon rainbow from my car seat  FUN! not!

Have a great day :)

David, I'd like to share the most horrible story you'll ever hear with you.....

We don't have Krisy Kreme here....loved it in FL, but none even remotely close to Shreveport...Mothers Day the grocery store "special ordered" them....we stumbled upon them as we went to restock the fridge, after the cruise...BOY, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven...there before my eyes were hundreds of boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts! Unfortunatly, as I started loading up the cart, Brian started with a terrible attitude, (we were all starting diets that day)...I mamanged to put all but 1 box back, (and the Mothers Day cake...yummy)....and later when I ate that 1 box of KK donuts, I told him it was worth every second of his bad attitude at the grocery store, and I'd gladly do it again :). Well, he had never had a KK, and he ended up agreeing with me that they were pretty good...(the kids got none the next morning, bc Brian finished off the box)...SO, I convince him we need to pick up something at the grocery store (this is the next day, mind you)... well, it can't be the store next to the house, it was to be the OTHER one...he figures out my games, seems pleased that we are going after more KK's...We get to the store, and the wall of KK's is gone!!!!! I run back to the back of the store...pushing my cart frantically...and they aren't in the bakery anymore either...(wall number 2 of KK's is missing!)...so I find the bakery boy, and enquire nonchalantly, (like he couldn't see my heart pounding under my skin), and he tells me..."Oh, I'm sorry ma'am, we through them all out this morning""....HE THREW THEM ALL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! "But we'll have more in next Mother's Day".
Think I outta boycott them now???

OMG Furluv - they threw them out - what a waste - I eat two or three day old Krispy Kreme donuts - they are that good.

Next time tell Brian to check the attitude at the door and let you have a shopping cart full of Krispy Kreme donuts.

Looks like the rain has ended here for now. Maybe more later this afternoon.

SCHOOL IS OUT!!! I am doing a dance... :multi: I guess that means more time to post here at Storm2K. Plus... I have a lot of things I want to get done this summer as well!

Everyone have a great afternoon,

Morning everyone. I am sitting here at the computer waiting for the sun to rise. You know... it is kind of ironic... some mornings during school I could barely drag myself out of bed and now my first day off I get up at 4:30 CDT. That is great!

Everyone enjoy their Thursday,
Garrett :multi:

Know There Is A Story Here...

#755 Postby azskyman » Thu May 15, 2003 1:06 pm

I know there is a story here somewhere.

When I pulled into the garage after returning from IL last night, there was a FULL box of KK's in the garage trash basket. Not ONE was missing.

Well...my son had lived in our place while Kathy and I were gone, but I have not had a chance to talk with him. Should be an interesting story. Throwing away KK's may cast some calories to the wind, but it is not normal behavior for this 26 year old.

They were hard as a rock, however, so the story should be at least three to four days old! This CSI will have a hard time believin' a story that was only a day old! Not even Crouton could get through these things.

Bron...I know the issues with INS are exaggerated these days with all the scrutiny of those coming in from other places. Let us know if you could use some "character" witnesses. We may not know each other from the outside-in, but we do know you from the inside-out!

Back to work today...catching up on a lot of things! Hope your Thursday is going ok for you. Keep those in your prayers who need the extra boost.

I was 39,000 feet nearer to the heavens yesterday while flying home when I said a special prayer for those in need. Don't have to shout so loud from there to get attention.

exams start tomorrow  oh joy. Most of today will be spent studying and working...and then more studying after I get out of work. 8am exam tomorrow will be interesting to say the least. My hardest 2 are on monday...so extra time to study...which are Physics II and Calc II.

Poppysky...KK's in the garage garbage...oh boy.

Furry...I'm glad you and your family were spared from the wrath of mother nature.

Back to the study table.

Let's see........what's going on here in the Florida PH?
My son is graduating from HS on Wednesday!! Off to FSU in the fall on scholarship! I am very proud! The funny thing is that both (yes both) of my ex-husbands will be there. One is driving in from Miami and the other one just moved back here after being gone for about 15 years. The one coming in from Miami is staying with me, believe it or not. He has been having some health problems and hasn't worked for about six months so he needed a place to stay and being the kind soul that I am, said he could stay here but he has to sleep in his son's room. It means alot to my son who is graduating for Jeff to be here, so I can jump through a couple of hoops for a good cause.
I am in the middle of a "Critical Thinking" class right now, so my brain really hurts!
Where has Crouton been lately? :?:

Well, I just joined up here at Storm2k, and I'm glad to be here.
I haven't seen anyone in a while. Those of you who were/are still members at TWC know me as therock. How is every one?
I'll see you all later!
