I've also been to Busch Gardens and to see a Cardinals game (even though I was actually there to see the Reds, and they lost, lol!), and guess what? I was TOO CHICKEN to go up in the arch, I was the only one in my whole family who stayed out! So I need to go and prove to myself that I can do it! :D

I was going to respond to the arch comment, but I will refrain.

I would try for anywhere in the southeast (se2me= E tx to the carolinas south of the TN border)... I would try with advanced notice and take gf/kids but...as I'm sure is true with everyone else, Would depend on when it was to be and any work/family commitments. It would be cool to meet you all if possible :D

Well ST.Louis is atleast in the middle of the country so it isnt a bad pick either and would be a good second choice plus as i am seeing it has lots to offer like Nashville! Not good however for our Floridian friends and those in the SE which is why i picked Nashville first!

If we go to Nashville maybe I could get a record deal. :) Surely one of you could be my agent.

i might be able to do Nashville...it's a stretch though...as is St. Louis...however, when I get my license we'll fit the van with necessary equipment and after that, the sky's the limit LOL...

I say Miami. :) :) We can all go to the National Hurricane Center and if we do it in the summer maybe we will get lucky and a storm will be brewing. I know realistically it's far for most of the members but just and idea

Something else I just thought about -- the Yahoo trivvers group members also made arrangements for some folks to share hotel rooms in an effort to cut down on the expense of the get-together trip. Of course, all arrangements were agreed upon ahead of time because people tend to feel closer and more trusting of those with whom they have had more contact.

And in an effort to avoid making anyone uncomfy, don't worry -- I can take a solo room. The trivia gang was a much smaller group than this and we knew each other for a longer time.

*snicker* @ Garrett. :) Well, that could work.

Of course, I'm talking about if we have it in St. Louie or somewhere other than Galveston.

/\ bumperoni's /\

Anyone have any more city nominations?

What about dates? I think it ought to be early in the summer before the tropics start heating up. Maybe June 12-13? It's the weekend before Father's Day.

St. Louis rocks! Maybe it's time for a vote? Somebody should start a preliminary poll thread.
