Gulf Breezer... THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wow. The response to this book drive has been overwhelming and have you guys to thank. It will be fun for me once some of them start coming in! :)

Sunny here this morning with temps in the middle 60's. Looks like it will be perfect weather for me to take my grandmother to the park and walk.

Be back later! Don't build too many snowmen, AZ! ;)

Dennis - You sure do have some crazy weather, man!!! Never a dull moment. I bet you wouldn't mind some dull moments for a change. How's your friend, Rick, doing?

GB - How much rain have you gotten? It looks like it's been relentless. Must be a bunch of street flooding out there. Be careful, and take a nap today if you can.

Tom - Hope your headache has taken a hike, and hope you were able to get some sleep through the storms.

Shannon - Well, exam day is here! You're probably deeply entrenched right now as I type. Hope they go well for you.

David - Prayed again this AM for ya! Waiting to hear some good news!!

Gary  - Have a nice walk with your grandmother. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You're a good guy! :D

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!
Donna

P.S. I dig the new spellcheck. I seriously need it at chat!!

Donna, the thunderstorms tapered off at the time I am awake and online and my headache was just about gone to gone around 1:15am ET.

It is pouring out again right now, severe thunderstorm warnings have been in effect across central Florida since early to mid afternoon.

Current tempreature is 80.4 and falling with this rain cooled air.

See everyone around...

Hi. Jeremy. My headache lasted a few hours during the nonstop thunderstorms last evening, it subsided as I was online last night into the early morning hours. I would think I would get them more often than I do. Perhaps I get small ones that I don't notice as much. :)

Sometimes lightning flashes, especially constant ones, can
cause headaches in folks. Little neurological blurps in the
brain...Excedrin Migraine might help, Tom, next time. It's
an OTC med, buddy.

OK, Garrett - got the BOX for the books, today - LOL, I'm
gettin' there! Gonna have my Mom mail them for me,
this week. People have managed to book my every minute,
through the work week, especially when the Post Office hours are
Open! I need a clone....or two.....or three! :o

Breeze, I know Excedrin Migraine is an OTC med. The two times I took aspirin I felt a little queasy, not that sick, but I said words that didn't make any sense.

I believe I mentioned before that I am allergic to ibuprofen (Advil and Mortin) and may even be allergic to Aleve (nuproxen) which if I am not mistaken is related to ibuprofen.

I was thinking of taking something, but time went by and it subsided and went away by itself. :)

Poor thing Tom! :( Hope you feel better!

Well I had a pretty good day. Tomorrow will be even better - it's PAYDAY! :D :D :D :D :D Can ya tell I'm a bit giddy tonight? :D :D :D :D :D

Anyway, all happiness aside - I'm mad at Microsoft. I spent 3 %^#^*!# hours (rather wasted hours) trying to re-install Windows 98 on my backup comp. All wasted because I couldn't find the blasted product code key number. GEEZ!

Now back to good news. :D It's foggy out. Why is that good? It means we're getting into our summertime weather pattern here, which is good timing for the holiday weekend.

Have a great Tuesday. Joshua

Morning everyone. A very cool, cloudy, and windy morning here! A far cry from the humid Monday we had.

Ma Nature sure put on quite a light display last night after midnight. :o

Looks like my day is pretty much booked: I have to get my car serviced, go see my sister's puppet show at school, and use the weedeater. :o I hope I have time to reach 6,000 today!

Have a great Tuesday,
Garrett

Go Garrett! You're so close, only 17 more to go. :D

Here's a story to make any weathernut parent proud ...

Last night was my daughter's 5th grade graduation night, and each student was asked to speak about something memorable about their school year.
Most kids talked about soccer, cheerleading, field trips, etc. When Hillary got up to the mic, she said the most memorable experience for her in 5th grade was that during the book fair they had a tornado warning. The audience giggled, and I said to my husband, "THAT'S MY GIRL!"
hehe, I guess I'm doing my part to pass my weather obsession onto the next generation. :D

Take care and God bless!

Go Garrett go!
Tom, glad you're well. Like I said, I get those too, so I can sympathize.
Donna, LOL! Great story!
Josh, check with MS, there may not be a code for those Os's anymore, could be time to upgrade?
Well, that's all. Hope you're having a good Tuesday afternoon,
Jeremy

A good afternoon to everyone!

Quiet day here, as we finished grading work that hadn't been graded yet, and cleaned up the classroom...its sad to see all the kids artwork and special writing assignments come down off the walls...(along with the Easter Egg window clings...ooopsss)...lol Its exciting and sad all in the same breath. The kids are getting a 1 month summer holiday in FL with grandparents, father etc...so they are really glad school is coming to a close. I'm gonna miss them like crazy!

Had a fun night last. We hosted our first cocktail party in the new house, and then went out for a night on the town with everyone...late night, but oh so much fun!

Bought a new antique piece yesterday, turn of the century dressing table, used as a desk for ourselves...was really cool, we found inside behind the drawers, some long forgotten photos, Scottish Drivers Licenses, anda chart on a babys growth, that had belonged to the previous owners....all this dated back to the early 50's, so it didn't exactly help in our dating the piece, but how fun to discover these items! We have the picture of the family's dog displayed on the desk, in the photo wallet it was found in...funny, the wife's picture was found BEHIND the dogs!

Anyway, thats about it from Shreveport...hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

I get the feeling that's how the pictures are arranged in streetsoldier's wallet.

Good afternoon everyone. It's a nice day here, temps reached the low 70s :D under hazy skies.

I got paid at work, made $507.17 for the month. :D This is my first full paycheck for the company. :D I'm very happy about it. ;)

Right now I am making a snack. Yum! :D I'm gonna have chicken patty sandwiches. ;)

Have a great hump day. Joshua

Howdy everyone. I just found out that my uncle died about an hour ago. I am waiting until Darla gets home and then we are leaving. If you could say a prayer for my aunt... she is very ill and my uncle Denzil was in good health... we never expected it.

Thanks Wxbuddies!
