Thunderstorms didn't pop up this afternoon across the Florida peninsula, however there is a broken line of storms along the Gulf (west) coast of the state.

A trough has developed ahead of the cold front, over the Gulf of Mexico, It may be in association with the upper level low over the east-central Gulf. The cold front should push all activity to Florida's west into the state. What do you think?

Garrett, thoughts and prayers for you and your family, especially your aunt.

Garrett, I'm so sorry for your loss, and I pray for your aunt and your family during this time. :( I gotta tell you something kinda weird though. We lost a family member this weekend, and his name was also Denzil. Not a close relation like an uncle; he was my sister-in-law's father-in-law. Anyway, strange because it's not a very common name. Take care.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle, Garrett. Having lost two in the last two months, I can appreciate the sense of loss you are feeling.

Funny thing about uncles. Seems like you remember a handful of events or situations in your life where they were particularly at their best, their funniest, or just enjoyable guys!

And while you know them well because they are your uncles, you really didn't know them at all...and wish you could have.

Take care, my friend.

Well we had rain today!! At least a thimble full!  I'm sure this will go down as one of the driest months ever in Houston.

Susan and I had our 31st Wedding anniversary yesterday(20th). since she has to work tomorrow, we are waiting till the weekend to celebrate with dinner and The Matrix Reloaded.

Garret, the prayers are flowing skyward as I type. I am sorry to hear about your uncle!! You've had enough heartache for awhile!!

It is still honeydo's galore for me! We've got the bath in working order, so now it is on to painting the outside of the house while it has cooled down for a week!! Much later and I can use the excuse it is too hot!

Well since I need to get up early to get started, I better call it a night soon. Later everyone.

I hope everyone had a Terrific Tuesday. 8-)

Oh boy, David... the Houston area still can't get rain!

The cold front moved through Louisiana on Tuesday and has slowed down... the middle to southern portion of the boundary is actually slowing down. Seabreeze boundary interaction is possible today and even a higher chance for showers and thunderstorms, tonight into Thursday.

As I posted in "USA Weather" on Monday, the Orlando [area] precipitation departure from normal doesn't look bad, but we do need rain, getting dry all at once (since our abnormally wet March) shows on our lawns. :)

It is now, just under a week until my trip to Massachusetts (well Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport, which by the way is in West Warwick, not Providence, RI).

Have a Wonderful Wednesday-Hump Day. :)

Morning everyone! Thanks so much for your concern. Donna... that is weird... but here is another twist for you... my mom's name is Donna. :)

I know everyone is going to be busy going different places this weekend so I just wanted to wish everyone a happy long weekend.

Have a great Wednesday!

Good evening everyone! :D

Happy Anniversary David and Susan! I hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating your anniversary. :)

There was a frontal boundary washing out last night and early this morning between Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL like I thought it would.

The rain/thunderstorm chances the next couple days for central Florida is currently between 50 and 70 percent has a frontal system moves toward the Sunshine State. I am certainly looking forward too it, too bad everyone in southeast Texas and southern Louisiana couldn't of gotten any moisture from it.

Garrett, you be careful, and, most of all, take care. I'm
praying for you and your family!

Tom, I sure wish that I could funnel some water out
to all of the folks in the dry areas - water is just standing
on the ground, around here! The garden...well, right now,
it's a water garden...... :o Those tomatoes that me and my
brother have been looking forward to will probably just
split open with they start ripening, because of being
waterlogged. I'm almost sure that everything is ruined.
Well, some years you get it, and, some years, you don't!

Ya'll have a great evening.

Well, its been a busy week to say the least...and nothing to do with work. I had an unexpected trip to Chicago on Monday and Tuesday...all is well...nothing to worry about. Work is going ok...Because I'm at home now, I have to drive up to Green Bay from Menasha...its only 30-35 minutes from my mom's house to work. Actually, not a bad drive...I could do it in my sleep! We have limited computer time also...so, I can't spend all day on the net.

Gorgeous days around my neck of the woods...after possibly frost in the morning (yes, possible frost) and afternoon warms up nicely :D

David...congrats on the wedding anniversary!

Yummy, thanks for the cookies!!

Garrett, I am very sorry for your loss! Prayers are flying!! I am done with Graduation, so my next project is to get these boxxes of books off to you. I will have them in the mail by Saturday!

David, Happy Anniversary! How was Matrix? I loved the first one and have watched it 3 times.

It has done nothing but rain here in the PH, my yard is so flooded, nowhere for the water to go anymore!

Well, my son graduated from High School last night!! Bittersweet moment! I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with him like it was yesterday! For those of you with young children, enjoy every single moment, because they are gone before you know it!! He is off to FSU in August!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday and who needs rain?, I will send you ours!! We have had enough!!!!!!!!

Morning gang, I'm out of school for this summer!
Garrett, OMG! Wow, that's just horrible, you're in my prayers.
Other than the fact that school is out, nothing happening in this neck of the woods. See you all later,
Jeremy

Good evening everyone. Found out today that I hurt my sciatic nerve so I'd like you to pray about that for me. It feels a lot better now though. :D

The weather cooled down today. It was 70 under hazy skies for the max temp. Next week we are supposed to have a nice heat wave. :D

Hope you all have a great daybeforea3dayweekend Friday! :D -- Joshua

Josh, don't feel bad...my sciatic nerve acts up all the time. There are days that I can't stand up nor sit down. Usually this happens when I have been standing for long periods or time. Last time it acted up was when I was refereeing a swim meet. FYI...the thermal back pads work wonders! I love using them. (They are located in the pharmacy section of Wal-Mart.) For about $7, you get a box of two, but you definitely get your money worth!

Beautiful day in the Menasha area! Gorgeous sunset...I don't know how to explain it. Red sky which turned some clouds black with orange bursts around the edges. Too bad I didn't have my camera...that would have been a neat picture with the NWS (Green Bay) Doppler, NBC 26 Doppler and the Austin Straubel Airport Control Tower in the background.

Busy weekend coming up...too many things in a small amount of time...there's not enough hours in a day!

There have been times that I've wished I've had either a) a certain female to massage my back for me (yeah right like THAT will ever happen  ) or b) a heating pad to relieve muscle cramps, etc. This is one of those times.

Go to Wal-Mart and get portable heating back pads. Like I said, its the best $7 that you'll spend!
