I love "where are they now" articles. I'm always curious to see how the life after their tv shows played out.

i love THE WALTONS so much. They used to play it on tv, i cant find it on tv anymore.

I loved "Little Fairies on the Prarie!"

I liked what's his name...MICHAEL Landon! There, I remembered his name...the one show I couldn't stand him in was "Highway to Heaven" he and Victor French were MUCH better in Fairies!

The Waltons remain my all time #1 favorite TV show. I think Hallmark might have reruns airing but we don't receive that channel. I always wanted to be from a large family and Olivia Walton was my favorite TV show mom. The only Walton I wasn't terribly fond of was Grandma! Loved Grandpa but his wife - woohee, she wasn't all that motherly. But I grew to tolerate her character! My favorite Walton - John Boy and then Erin, oops that two. That scene when John Boy wants to move to New York City and his family is realizing that's what he intends to do (they're all on the front porch), Grandpa asks John and Olivia how they feel with their oldest about to leave the nest, I cried and cried. Olivia mutters she'd better get to darning his sox. But John walks out into the yard to convey in his quiet way, they support John Boy's decision. Meanwhile, I'm crying buckets b/c Richard Thomas wanted off the show. I couldn't believe he was leaving! The Waltons wasn't quite the same w/o him either.

I had so many favorite family shows while growing up - My Three Sons, Eight is Enough, Little House, etc.

I loved The Waltons as well. Family Ties was a great show too.

Every Christmas I watch my tape called "The Homecoming" featuring the Waltons waiting for John Walton to come home for Christmas. It's a great movie!

I've been sick since last Saturday and spent everyday in bed. I almost became RE-ADDICTED to Little House on the Prairie. LOL
