Help!

I feel dumb. I got this note from my Netscape browser today...
"Support for Netscape browsers will be discontinued as of March 1st, 2008."
Does that mean I can't use Netscape any more? I have firefox downloaded now, but how do I get all of my bookmarks transfered?
If I dont have to make the switch to firefox, I wont.

It's easy to import bookmarks from Netscape into Firefox.
In Firefox, click the Bookmarks tab, then select Organize Bookmarks. Inside the "Organize Bookmarks window, select File then Import. You can choose whether to import from Netscape or Internet Explorer.
Firefox is essentially the same browser as the Netscape browser, so you won't have to learn anything new to use it.

You can still use Netscape, but as of March 1st, they will no longer upgrade or provide security patches to the browser. Why don't you want to use Firefox? I mean, granted I when I switched my mom from Netscape, she preferred Safari (for Windows) over Firefox. So this isn't the first time I've come across this.
Firefox is essentially the offspring of Netscape or actually started as the open-source verison of Netscape. They refined the rendering engine (Gecko) and eventually Netscape incorporated Gecko into their browser. The difference between Netscape and Firefox is the extensions (add-ons) and themes (skins) that have been developed for FireFox. Because the code is open-source, people were encouraged to take the code and develop add-ons and themes to customize the browsers.

i used to use Netscape several years ago, i didnt even know it still existed either

It does, and Fact isn't the only one I know who still uses it.
