World geography game

#1 Postby senorpepr » Thu Mar 06, 2008 12:48 pm

It's pretty tough. The objective is to get as close to the city as possible, within the allotted time. For each location, you score points based on how close you clicked, plus bonus points for timeliness. After 10-15 locations, if you've scored enough points, you'll advance to the next round. There are 12 total rounds. One my first time, I just missed the cut-off to advance to the 12th round.

This link is better. You have more games to choose from. (World geography, North America, Asia, Europe, World Capitals and more).

I got to the 11th round.

Pretty tough with the Russian cities. My strategy is to hit the country, but with Russia and China it becomes a difficult task!!!

Yeah. Most of the cities I'm familiar with having forecast all over the world, but some of the obscure Russia cities are killing me. I get just below that 55k mark needed to advance.

Tried the US one. An city on the Atlantic/Gulf coast I nailed for obvious reasons, and a few other cities. But man, many of them I was off by like 2-3 thousand miles. XD
