DALLAS, Texas (WFAA ABC 8) — A sheriff's deputy's patrol car was crashed into by a drunken driving suspect Tuesday night and the collision was captured on video, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office said.

The law enforcement vehicle was parked and empty at the time of the wreck, deputies said.

Wrong car to crash into!!!

When I was nine years old, my papa's car was stolen from the parking lot where he worked. It was Christmas Eve, and the driver was drunk and ended up crashing the car into the house of a sheriff's deputy in Pasco County. The sad part was the car was totaled and my papa had built the entire car from top to bottom from parts at the wrecker service where he worked. It was beautiful and unique.

What an idiot.
