This will never pass. It's funny how a congressman, who obviously makes enough to cover this fuel tax he proposes and probably 20x more than the average American, wants to tax the heck out of drivers because where does tax money go................ to the government, which is also where his pay comes from.

What an idiot. People can only cut back so much. They still have to drive to work and other necessary places and public transportation is usually only readily available in cities.

I have been thinking already a lot about the possibility of going to FIU in my bike. A live a few blocks away but the summer heat will not be easy!!!

Probably one of those congressmen who votes to raise his own pay constantly.
