I thought this video was cool...
Note how tame Texas gators are. Unlike Florida, has not been an alligator fatality in Texas in over 50 years.

That dope guy was not very smart.I bet that the gator was not hungry at the time the guy captured him. When gators are hungry is when they are the most dangerous. When my youngest son was about 12 years old, he and a friend were fishing in the lake in front of the nearby Southeastern college( formerly Southeastern Bible College) when the small boat they were in started to leak. They decided to get out and wade to shore towing the boat. When they were about 10 feet from shore the friend looked back at my son and said, the gator is swimming behind you, hurry up ! My son made to shore with less than 6 feet clearance between his backside and the gator. Since that happened ,my son is much more careful when he goes fishing.
