Prayers Needed

I need prayers. I quit smoking yesterday. Yesterday on day one I went to make pre-need arrangements for my uncle at the funeral home. Today I went to visit him at the hospital and when the valet brought the car back there were no brakes. Master cylinder leaking everywhere. Called AAA and they towed us to where I always get my repairs done and guess what. They have gone out of business. I have a station wagon that is over 30 years old so its not like everyone can fix it. The tow driver said I know someone down the road. He just dropped me and my mama off at the house. I haven't had anything to eat since yesterday, because that is a bad trigger for me. I figure if I don't eat, I can avoid the after cig major trigger, and its not like its going to hurt if I miss a few meals. I was tempted to grab the tow truck drivers can of snuff. That's how bad I felt. I'm going to crawl in bed and pull the covers over my head until they call for me to pick the car up tomorrow. Also, prayers for my mother who quit smoking last week. For my uncle in the hospital. My older sister who just got laid off her job and her daughter who got laid off two jobs in one day. I thank God that my sister's daughter was able to find a job quickly but she is still not making enough to make ends meet. Can anyone say recession!

Wow, you are dealing with a lot, all at once. Take a few deep breaths, close your eyes, force yourself to relax. One thing at a time. I'll be praying for all of you. Especially your uncle.

Prayers coming your way!

Thanks Miss Mary. My uncle just called and he seems to be doing a little better. He said the lunch was good. I just don't want him to suffer like my grandma (his mother) did with the congestive heart failure.

Prayers on the way for your battle and most of all for your family and you. I plan to make the same decision very soon. There is a free quitters hotline..that may help. Good luck. here is the link http://phonephun.us/archives/quit-smoking-hotline/
