My mom just got off the phone with my grandfather from the hospital. He was put into the hospital early today with a very swollen leg, and what has been discovered to be a blood clot. The clot is in his good leg (he has polio in the other leg). He is expected to be in the hospital with blood thinners for 2-3 more days until the clot is gone. Ill update more later when I know more.

My prayers are with you and your family. I hope everything turns out OK.

absolutely terrible. I know the helpless feeling when you are so far away from your loved ones. All you can do is pray, we will do the same.

I talked to him a little while ago. He is supposed to be discharged this morning from the Hospital. They were giving him blood thinners and the stabilizers.
