Yep its now offically summer according to all the various methods, to be honest in the UK we had the best taste of summer so far in earrly May, though its not been a bad June its been fairly bland and average.
Still yep long days and short nights are here!

Same here CM! It's been hot for a long time now......our school district got out early this year too (late May), where I also work. So I feel like Summer started weeks ago.....

This first day of summer in Toronto.... high reached 23.1C 74F not totally summery but better than in recent days. Some sunshine too, but more clouds than sun and isolated showers around in the afternoon.
I wasnt exactly in Toronto today, i was in Oshawa, thats about 35 miles east of Toronto, just east of Ajax. But same kinda weather there.

Definitely was Summer here!!! Upper 90's, severe thunderstorms, tornado(or possibly just a funnel cloud) and all.
