Florida Lottery to play ball with Powerball

Powerball is coming to Florida.. Wooo Hooo.. Let the winning begain!

Florida has decided to offer the multi-state, mega-jackpot game of Powerball beginning in January.

TALLAHASSEE -- In a reversal of its previous stance, the Florida Lottery has decided to offer Powerball to help prop up sagging state revenues while making the Sunshine State the new face of the multistate, mega-jackpot game.

The state's lottery director, Leo DiBenigno, said Florida decided to start offering the game beginning in January because the state will become the new site for Powerball drawings and people have been clamoring for the game for years.

I hardly ever play the lottery.. I do scratch offs more then the actuall lotery drawings, but im sure I will get in on this

I hardly ever play the lottery.. I do scratch offs more then the actuall lotery drawings, but im sure I will get in on this


I rarely play either. The odds of winning are just too small, on top of that, the prizes are small compared to the powerball lotteries. Even then, the odds are so small, I would only play a few dollars, $5 or less, every once in a while.
