It's Sunday morning, so I'm having my second cup of coffee. The mug I'm using is one my daughter bought me at a Secret Santa Shop when she was really young, it's old-old.

It say's - "Mom's happy mug", it has a smiling face in the middle with sun rays coming out of it, random pictures all around the edge - a rose, a bicycle, ski's, a camera, fishing pole (?!!!), golf club bag, bowling ball with one pin, tennis racket, an ice skate (but only one! LOL), and a sewing machine.

I love this mug! It reminds me of the Christmas Day morning I opened my gift. And then my daughter ran to the kitchen to wash it, so I could use it right away.

It probably cost $1!

Mine is, well, not so interesting. I don't use regular coffee mugs because they are too small and don't keep my coffee as hot as I like. Mine is one of those silver shiny insulated mugs with the black lid that most use as a "to go" mug. Oh and I bought it myself from WalFart for about 5 bucks.

A travel mug to use at home. While traveling from your kitchen to your computer. I like it! LOL

Plain white with 5 blue bands, middle one thicker tahn others, near top.

But only because it was closest when I was pouring the coffee.

Mine has the logo of the Christian Church(Disciples of Christ) on it. It was left over from a membership campaign our church had years ago. It just seemed the appropriate one to use this morning and it was at th efront of the cabinet.

I love the smell of coffee but i don't drink it. I just never acquired a taste for it plus i rarely drink caffeine. So as i sit here i have my 20 oz. bottle of walmart water which i'll refill during the day with tap water. I just like drinking out of the bottle. Reminicent of my college days perhaps?

Kathy - we refill water bottles too. With plain tap water. Hubby likes to explain it as - yeah, I know, I'm a cheapskate.....The ones I like the best are the small sizes you buy in a cardboard carton from Dessani, they fit in a dorm sized fridge in the basement my daughters do not need right now that we keep filled with drinks and also they fit in purses or small bags easily too.

Mine is white with cartoon pictures of grey cats holding balloons. The cartoonist is "Boynton", if anyone is familiar with his work.

My coffee mug is red and black with "How the #*@!! did I get to be 40" on it. Shamefully, it's from a few years back

Mine was given to me by my Mom. I drink tea in it every morning. It has a goofy angel with a crooked halo carrying a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a watering can in the other. Printed above that it says "My daughter.....my friend...a blessing twice"

Today's mug is white and says:

Nothing fancy, plain glass one with a red painted bottom, part of a 4 glass set. The only one still hanging around as I packed all my other mugs.

White with brown picture and lettering from Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. Picked it up there after breakfast about 10 years ago.

I'm enjoying the many replies - keep 'em coming! Since it's Saturday, perhaps people are lingering at the keyboards, enjoying that second cup of coffee or tea........I know I am, it's kind of nice not to hurry while checking email and such.

My mug today is a simple white mug with a xmas scene. Yes I know, xmas in October? I never put away our xmas mugs! Why? Because they make excellent cups of hot tea (I get this idea from my Scottish mother) or they are just the right size for our dishwasher, etc. Cumbersome mugs just do not cut it....LOL Today's mug is white with a xmas scene, complete with snowman, outdoor pine tree and a little teddy bear wearing a scarf and hat (why a teddy bear in the snow? LOL I don't know, it was a mug found at a dollar store....he he).
