My work is just starting the transition. I've had it at home for a few months after I took advantage of the "Home Use" license. As a result my work let me be one of the first ones in the office to get it installed. We still have to save everything back to Office 2003 and that will probably be the practice for a while until our clients start catching up too.

It took a little getting used to, but it's OK. Things never get simpler, we just have to keep learning. I'm putting my favorite commands on the quick access toolbar because its more convenient than the ribbon. It definitely slows the computers down a little. I just discovered that by default Word 2007 disables the "insert" key on the keyboard so you have to go in and change the settings.

They use it at St. Petersburg College. I've been using it there for 2 or 3 semesters now, and I still cant get used to it. Ive had a few oops, like saving a document on to my school account, getting home to all gibberish. I just had to go back to school to translate it to fix the problem, but.... I'm not an entirely big fan of the new format for MW2007.

Office 2007 definitely takes some getting used to IMO. The ribbon is a major change for those used to older MS products. If you're running older versions of MS Office here's a link to the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack. It allows older versions to read the new 2007 file formats.
