These kids don't need suspensions, they need to be smacked upside the head a few times, then expelled.

Alternative school sounds like the right way to go to me along with plenty of community service, maybe at a local synagogue or Jewish community center if there is one(We have several in Houston). IMO, expulsion completely from school accomplishes nothing but putting another potential criminal on the streets.

They should be expelled or suspended for a month at least. I'm sure they would have if they called it "hit a black (or n word) day".
