Anybody have Cox?

Just wondering, does anybody else on here use Cox for their Internet?
This week, Cox has been nothing but a problem. It is 8:37 PM where I am and I literally just got on the Internet for the first time tonight - and I have been trying since I got home from work around 5:30! This isn't the first night I've waited a while to get on, this problem has been ongoing throughout this week. Based on a lot of customer reviews I have read, I'm fearing, is this normal for Cox?
Sorry if I come across a little rough. I just feel this way after trying to get on for 3 hours straight. I just think this is downright unbelievable.

I don't have Cox, but that is unbelievable. I'd be screaming at someone on the other end of a phone call which could not be published here if I ran into that with my internet!

I have Cox here in NE Phoenix. While I didn't experience the problems you did, I have had a rare "blackout" with them.
I noticed that they added several new HD channels to the local lineup where I live this week, so that could be part of the problem with downtime.
Typically I have less problem with Cox here than I had when I was serviced by Qwest.
Good luck with it.

I have cox and was down 30 minutes the other day. If you have cox and need to call your customer service to let them know that your internet is down, instead of talking to that stupid robotic lady recording who keeps telling you she is showing that she is not receiving a signal for your internet (no joke, that's why i called) just say "Agent" and it'll get you right to customer service.

Update:
It's trying to get better. Still losing the Internet occasionally for a few minutes, but I'm for the most part keeping it more consistently than last week. It still needs to improve, and is actually going slow from time to time. But this is, so far, much better than last week.
Thanks for the support guys. I still haven't posted anything there yet, just hoping for the best and maybe that someone else is having this same problem and letting them know. And I think I needed some time to cool off from that one night when I just couldn't get on (and needed to).
