Wednesday, January 21 (yes it returns to Wednesdays)
8 - 9 pm "Destiny Calls" (recap of the first four seasons)
9 - 11 pm "Because You Left/The Lie" (two hour season premiere)

Let the discussions begin. And let's keep our old but not forgotten Lost, Part 3 topic tucked somewhere safe, since I think we'll be referring to it from time to time. LOL

I watched the season 4 finale last night (thanks for the heads up Mary!) - I'm glad the ran it again because there were a few things I had forgotten.

I wonder how Walt will figure into this now. And I wonder where Kate is taking Aaron?

I suspect Kate is going back to the island. Or if she strongly disagrees with Jack, she could be going into hiding. But didn't she receive probation by promising not to leave the state and/or city she's living in? That's LA isn't it?

I think if Walt returns, they should just not even try and explain his growth spurt. I know they have wondered what to do about that.

Do you all realize that Lost premiered almost 5 years ago? Yes, it was the fall of 2004! Wow, time flies. And they haven't even been on/off the island for 6 months. Except in the flash forwards....

I'd be surprised if Kate brings Aaron back to the island, especially after Claire telling her not to in the dream. But hey I've been wrong before!

Maybe they could explain Walt's growth spurt as being a few years in the future? Since it is flash forwards. Do you remember how long they were off the island when Walt went to visit Hurley?

5 years - wow! I still remember the very first episode, Shelby and I called each other and were like I'm not sure about this show lol. But I watched the second episode and haven't looked back

Yep, 2004 was the year of killer canes for FL. I remember it well.
That first episode hubby was watching and I caught a glimpse walking by
and it sucked me in, I sat down to watch and been hooked every since.

I agree with Mary either Kate is going back or going into hiding. That dream
about Claire was freaky. Can't wait for the new episodes to start rolling in.

Per my post last week in the old thread, I did start watching last season again. I've watched 9 episodes, with 5 more to go. Only 2 nights left to finish it!
If you have the DVD set or can get them online, I suggest trying to watch as many as you can. While I remembered the main stuff, it's amazing how many details I had already forgotten!

Oh my gosh... I can't wait!!

Lost - Season 5 - Premieres tonight.

8 pm - one hour Seasons 1 thru 4 recap
9 -11 pm - two hour premiere!

Tonight's the night (no, I'm not singing the Rod Stewart song!!!)

I'm going to do a short workout tonight so I can be in front of the TV at 7CST!

Even though I am sick, I will definitely be watching. Illness, or no illness... the addiction comes first! lol

Mine too, mine too.

My mind is just reeling, so many questions, so many answers, I kept asking myself - did they go back in time, did they go forward? I fully expected them to stumble upon themselves, in a dual universe. Just a hushed observation from the trees. Of course that didn't happen but I was braced for it.

Let's see.....I'm so tired but before I close this post (you know there will be more tomorrow), I have two words I thought I'd never utter again!!!

Ana Lucia!

Sure was nice to see her again. I liked what she said about Libby. But why not add Charlie's name? Charlie would have said hello too. Ah, but Libby and Ana Lucia were buds. Ana Lucia hardly knew Charlie I guess.

Sure was a trippy episode. A great way to kick off Season 5.

You never know if you can trust Ben or not. One character I am really growing to like - Faraday.

One final comment - I'm getting a little tired of Juliet's - put you in your place look - she does it to almost everyone. Watch her. It's as if she's saying - come on, tell me that again. But it's a biotchy way of looking at you, not a confused look. I didn't like this look last year and I saw it a lot tonight.

She probably didn't add Charlie's name because she didn't need to. Charlie has been visiting Hurley regularly. As far as we know, he hasn't seen Libby since she died and this is the first time he's seen Ana Lucia.

There goes my theory. I still wish Charlie hadn't died though....

Someone over at the IMDB Lost boards posted a topic - Weekend at Sayid's. Because they kept carting his almost dead body around. LOL!
