Interior residents notice an invasion of ptarmigan

Looks like Fairbanks has many ptarmigans living there. Would be a sight to see in winter. 8-) :grrr:

I'd prefer them to Canada fecal bird...err, Geese.

They're dove-like, though I'm sure much bigger.

Ptarmigans are about the size of a pigeon. They are grouses and related to pheasant and turkey.
