My sister in law's father, Gordon Leiser, passed away today. He had been battling lung cancer for the past nine years. He had a part of his lung removed. He served in the Navy and was very proud of it. He always felt that he was going to beat the cancer. He was also very proud of my two nephews, Mason and Colin.

Also, my neighbor, Michael Dansbury, passed away while on a business trip due to a heart attack about 2 weeks ago. He was a really nice man and left his wife, Betty, and 2 sons and one daughter. Betty is a beautiful, warm hearted person.

Please keep them and their families in your thoughts. Thank you.

fact - yes he was a smoker at one time.

The wake is Sunday and the funeral is on Monday. I'll be going up Sunday for the earlier viewing.

Sorry to hear about your losses. They have a way of reminding us how precious each of our own sunrises really are...and how quickly they could be taken from us.
