William Edward Christie was born 3 August 1929 in Lacoochee Florida. He was the son of Robert Charles Christie and Sallie Allen. Bob lived in Bushnell, Florida and went to elementary school their until he moved to Tampa. He attended Memorial and Hillsborough High School in Tampa. At age 16 he served in the merchant marines for several years. He worked for Eli Witt Cigar Co. of Hav-A-Tampa Corporation, Koolee Inc., and Seamco Laboratories. Bob is survived by his wife Rosalie Conte Christie, his mother Sallie Allen Christie Di Maggio, and four children, Roseanna, Rosemarie, Bill, and Toni Faye, as well as his grand children and great grandchild. Bob died on August 11, 1994 in Tampa Florida and is buried in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He was a wonderful husband, son, and father, and is missed terribly.

What a nice tribute! Whether still with us or not, we need to say something nice to him today.

We need to do something we know would bring a smile or remind others of him.

Regardless of your relationship with your dad, this is a good day to tell him something nice that you know he would like to hear.

Thanks Cookiely. Clearly having him in your life was important to you.

How I wish my Father and my Father-in-law were here to be enjoying their first great grandchild on this side of the family. Neither of them lived long enough to see thier great grand children and both would be much worse than this graddaddy is about spoiling them rotten. I couldn't have asked for two better fathers to be in my life than these two.
As Steve says, no matter what your relationship is or was with your father there was or is some good there. Look for it, latch on to it, remember it.

Thanks Dad!!!
