Black Friday

I went. I said i wasn't going to go shopping today. Shoot me already! LOL Ended up going to The Orchard (Apple store) to get my daughter a laptop. Then I needed something to wear tonight to a party so we hit the mall. It wasn't bad though. I wasn't expecting to stand in line at The Orchard though and it was rather chilly. And then there was this guy talking to another guy in standing in line at The Orchard. The first guy was in his car and still dressed from the previous evening out on the town. Every other word out of his mouth was "Duuuuude". He showed the "duuuuuude" he was talking to an unopened bottle of wine. Not impressed. "Duuuuuude" needed to go home and sleep it off. Then the other guy waited in line at The Orchard for at least an hour just to get a free tshirt...and he didn't even buy anything.

I went. I got my laptop that I was talking about in chat. Best Buy was very organized, no chaos what so ever. Got double upgrades and still saved $150. I might go to a couple places tomorrow (funny enough to get an outfit for a party) and get a case for my laptop.

I considered it, but I didn't really want to. As it turned out, I found online most of what I would have been looking for (and the most important stuff), at the same or even better prices. And I didn't have to stand in line in 34° weather and fight the crowds, and then HOPE they still have what I want by the time I get there. I shopped in my jammies and the nice U.P.S. man will bring it right to my door. Maybe he'll have time to come in for some coffee one day... we've gotten to know him quite well. lol

"Duuuuude".

I was already out getting routine maintenance on my car. I stopped at Target and got Marty 2 flannel pajama pants, $8 each. Then I stopped at Kohl's and got a beautiful fleece throw that supposedly retailed at $30.00 at got it at $8.99, plus some slipper socks and reed diffuser. Not too bad. They were both pretty crowded. Kohl's was having their early bird special until 1:00 pm so it was more crowded. It was good to see people out shopping.

Sure it is. :ggreen:

I did my annual tradition of not going anywhere near a store on Black Friday, although I was tempted this year more than ever. I will do most of my shopping online though.

One of these years I'm gonna do it.
