I know this is different but when like throws you a twist you have to share it!
My daughter was born yesterday Jan 30 at 4:20pm(8 pounds 3.4 oz at 21 inches long)! She owns NO girls clothes. Let me explain. do to the GREAT TECHNOLOGY that we have the ultrasound people told me we were having a boy. SO I painted the room sports like and was going to name him ELI winston. I am a die hard Giants fan so you can only guess why I picked that na,e/ LOL so the baby came and the doctor said ITS A GIRL..and I was like WHAT?!?!?!? LOL but oh well no big deal I love her just the same. We named her Realene Lynn!
It didnt come without a scare though when she arrived the embilicle (sp?) cord was wrapped around her neck three times! she was a blueish purple color very scary. they got her breathing only to find out her temp was 103!! more worried now. Thankfully she only spent 6 hours in ICU before everything was normal and the yreturned her to us!

CONGRATULATIONS on your little princess!!! 27 years ago we had a somewhat similar experience when our son was born. Back then the ultrasound technology wasn't nearly as advanced as it is now so finding out the sex of the baby was not usually an option. Heartbeat rate indicated a girl till near the time of birth(we were waiting for the doc since it was a c-section). His cord was wrapped 3 times also, but there was no fever. When I told my wife we had a little boy she called me a liar!!LOL(she was still coming out of anesthesia) Anyway, enjoy your new bundle of joy and remember, no matter what she will always be your little princess. My little princess has now become a queen and her little princess(mine too) turns one year old in 2 weeks. It is a wonderful often scary ride, but one I would trade for nothing else in this world.

That's what I was going to say. I know some girls (*ahem* check this thread) who are bigger sports fans than some guys. With a dad like you, I'm sure she will be too.
Congratulations & thank God she is ok. Children can drive you nuts at times, but they are such a blessing. Cherish every moment.

Congratulations!!!
Nothing more wonderful than having a new baby in the house. I think you'll probably be repainting the room.
Sounds like it was pretty scary but all turned out well. Will you be posting any pictures of the little princess?? I'd love to see her.

Upload the photo (when you click the reply button, the page it takes you to has an uploader on it, the button says "host it!"). After that is done, you have to get the direct link url...there are like four choices, and the direct link one would take you directly to the image, it will end in a .jpg or .jpeg most likely.
After that, click the button on the post a reply page that reads "Img", then post the url between the two...um, things that appear. it looks like [img](url will go here)[/imgg] (minus the second g, I didnt want to trip the HTML coding, otherwise you wouldnt see the example).
