It's all about Lady Antebellum in this household. I latched onto them before they were extremely popular. It is the first time that I think I have really liked someone and then they went mainstream.

Lady Antebellum is on my iPod

I'm still sticking with my favorite band ever though, 3 Doors Down.
I didn't see a thread about music or anything so now we have one

As a metalhead, I will tip my hat to 3 Doors Down. The song Duck and Run took me through some serious down times. Helped me to stay focused and not lose sight of what was in front of me. The CD The Better Life is amazing.

I do agree. 3 Doors Down is awesome. Their songs definitely have some meaning.
I saw them in concert last May. It was worth fighting the drunk people (not literally) to get to the front.

I recently discovered The Watermelon Men, a Sweedish alternative band from the 80's. Awesome haunting vocals, jangly guitars. Reminds me of a cross between The Smithereens and the Dream Syndicate.

Still listening to my grandchildren. Music is too long for Youtube these days--trying to figure it out... But older stuff is on
http://www.mackaystrings.comThe twins just played the Brahms Double Concerto with Keene (NH) Chamber Orchestra on Mother's Day.
--Very proud grandma

Italian sports car...right? I will say this. I am not a big Bon Jovi fan, but they did put metal on the map. I have seen them once ( back when Dokken opened up for them). They are ok. I am a Megadeth fan myself, but my second group that I love, Stryper opened up for Bon Jovi too, so I have to respect them. Back in the 1980's the Glam/Pop Metal fans and Thrash metal fans hated each other. Now, we have grown up and it is not so much.
