I decided to look back through the s2k archives today and there are many familiar names and faces that have disappeared from the threads. Does anyone know where any of these people are?

One good thing to note... a lot of the old timers (I include myself in that list) from 2002 and 2003 still lurk and/or post!

I may add Skywatch_NC.

People come. People go. They might have stuff going on in their life that doesn't allow them time to get on or they found other forums of interest. We do miss them though!

HG was here last hurricane season. I had contacted her on myspace (yes i used to go there! lol) and she came back for the season. I know she leads a busy life with her singing.

I don't know about the others.

I miss the posts from HyperStorm. I haven't seen that person around for a long long time. He use to post on the hurricane threads all the time.

Thanks CM! I am actually surprised how many of the originals are still around. 7 years is a long time!!

Otown has her hands full with her girls. She does alot with them.

Im here I do a lot more lurking these days, just stop by and read when I can.
My girls do keep me busy, especially during the summer. Heck I joined Facebook
about 6-7 months ago and I think I have been on there about 5 times. Wish
I had more computer play time.

Hope you are enjoying it! Watch out though...once you get used to facebook, you wont want to stop! It's almost as addicting as here is!

Skywatch_NC is active over at the Weathervane forums. I alerted him that people here are worried about him.

I use to remember someone by the name of NEXRAD I believe. I think he was a Met, but I use to love his postings.....I remember him being a super cool met and very down to earth and humble..... I think his name started with a 'J' but I'm not sure.....

Wherever he went, I miss his posts....
