Some of the language is a bit confusing

The shortening of our language has gone to extremes. we have TEOTWAWKI and TSHTF
Being of the almost 50 crowd I sometimes don't get all the Sentences like this "My DH told his DW to get some PM from the safe." With a little work I can work through it. It translated to "A woman's husband told her to get some silver out of the safe."

Sometimes it gets to the point of ridiculous.

I was having trouble with the translation of this one that I found today.


R.O.T.F.L.S.H.T.E.T.I.G.U.I.F.D.A.T.H.M.H.O.A.T.A. M.M.H.T.T.M.T.T.H.A.B.I.L.





So much trouble that I had to look it up.




I found out it means:



Rolling on the floor laughing so hard that every time i got up i fell down again then hit my head on a table and my mom had to take me to the hospital all because i laughed.

LOL! I only know the very basics of "text language", and even then I struggle with it (I do not text like that, I talk with words!). My 10 yr old sister always messages me on YIM with that crap, and half the time I'm like "Huh?", and I'm only 20!

Did you ever notice that facebook, twitter, and the rest are used most heavily by people who don't have anything to say?
