I have a problem with Yahoo! I can't read my mail and any news links from that site. I keep getting Internet Explorer cannot display page and I see the address above is referencing "ads.bluelithium.com". Did a virus do this or is it the spyware or both? How do I get rid of it?

It's advertising malware Stephanie. Download and run MalwareBytes from this link. http://www.malwarebytes.org/ It's one of the best on the market in my opinion

malwarebytes is pretty good. It finds stuff that some others don't

I also like MalwareBytes. I started using it regularly years ago. Something had gotten on my computer and nothing could get rid of it. Finally, someone recommended MalwareBytes and it found it and got rid of it. I run the quick scan regularly and the full scan every once in a while.

Good luck, Steph!

Add another MalwareBytes fan here, too - I run it regularly on my PC.

Yes I did. That program did the trick.

Norton supposedly has Anti Spyware protection as well. This is the second time that Norton has let something affect my PC. The last one was a virus. AFTER I ran the scan manually, that's when Norton "found it" and had it removed. Perhaps it was between weekly scans but I would've thought that it would've picked it up right away.
