Chatroom tonight - June 1st - Hurricane Season begins!

Please join us in the chatroom tonight, May 31st, as we countdown to Hurricane Season 2011. Get to know your fellow Storm2k'ers, talk about the upcoming season, share prep ideas, etc. We'll have plenty of refreshments 
but feel free to bring your own.
For those who can't make it tonight, or if you'd just like to come back, we'll be doing the same thing tomorrow night, June 1st, for the first night of Hurricane Season 2011.

To connect with IRC clients, you'll need to select the EsperNet server (irc.esper.net) and to join the channel (room):
Type:
/join #Storm2k for the main weather chat
/join #Storm2k_ot for the off topic room.
You can set it up to automatically enter the Storm2k channels, then you're just one click away from entering the chatrooms. You can also register your nickname if you'd like, but it's not necessary.
After you enter the room you will get an automatic nickname. Please change your nick to your Storm2k username. To change it, use this format: /nick your name when you enter the room.
For example: /nick southerngale
