Hello again, S2K friends! It's another hurricane season, and I'm getting back into the groove of S2K. It's been a while . Since I last visited, I've become a grammie again, this time a beautiful little red-headed baby sister for my two-year-old grandson. I've walked away from my extraordinary full-time plus adjunct professor college jobs (last day was 04/30). My husband is also in the process of resigning his position (last day will be 06/30). We'll both take the summer off. I expect to either fully or semi-retire (at the tender age of 61 ) ; Kurt will decide what he wants to do next, whether full- or part-time, public or private sector. We'd like to downsize from our current home, but the sellers' market in SoFla continues to be very discouraging. In an ideal world, I'd also like to move closer to my grandkids in Vero Beach asap, too.

Life is certainly filled with surprises! My guiding thought has become to look for the best in every situation and absolutely trust Divine Order.

I look forward to renewing old friendships and making new ones with you all!

Congrats on the new Gradndaughter!!! We're still at 1 grandchild which is fine. We are fortunate that our children do live in the Houston metro area so we don't have far to go.
