Calling All Prayer Warriors

My sister Joyce will be having surgery early Tuesday morning 06/21 @ Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami to remove a 3+ cm tumor located in the left side of her brain, extremely close to the optic nerve. Post-surgical radiation treatment may be needed. I will be in Miami during the hospital stay and then with her at her home in Port St. Lucie, FL during her recuperation. Prayers for a successful operation and complete recovery will be greatly appreciated.

My sister's surgery was successful: the brain tumor was benign and removed completely without any complications. Post-op pain and nausea were well-managed within 12 hours. She was transferred out of ICU this morning and the bandages have been removed. She'll be sporting a cap to protect the sutures alongside her left ear upper, temple, and skull. (I'm thinking about marvelous headscarf creations while she recuperates....) Of course, she's still exhausted, she has no appetite, her face is bruised and misshapen, and her left eye is swollen shut -- but she looks absolutely beautiful to me.
Her ability to move and speak have not been compromised -- nor has her terrific sense of humor!
Thank you all for your powerful prayers and encouraging thoughts. I know they were the key to her remarkably positive outcome.
