Hey everyone. :) Well, to start off, i just started my first year of college about 2 months ago after graduating from High School on May. The assignment (project) that is due November 17, is about my major. I would like to pursue a meteorology career, because ever since i was a kid, I've had an interest in weather and such. I have to present this in front of my class, and speak about this career, but it also asks me to interview a professional in this field. There are only about 8 questions that I'm required to do, so for all mets that would like to help, I'd really appreciate it.

It asks me to interview one professional in the field, but more than one would be preferable. Again, this project is due Nov. 17. I know you guys are busy, but i can promise you it will not take too long. The first part of the project is due Thursday, November 3rd, which asks for the name of the pro, title/company, and contact number or email.

Once again, thank you very much, i will really appreciate it. :)

You can also ask people working at your local NWS office! They are usually eager to answer any questions one might have about the weather/their jobs.

Just let me know what I can do to help. I've been doing this since I graduated from A&M in 1980, and I was a weather nut at 4 years old in 1961.

Let's try this again...my first post showed up as a total blank -.- (how does that even happen, anyways???)

True, but my thinking was that you could have someone from here (military, tv, nws, etc), along with someone you can meet face to face. I know some of the projects I did in HS required both a face to face interview, along with someone from a distance. :)

In my case, they just ask me to interview someone. Could be in person or from far away, though they don't specify which one, so just in case ill consider your advice. Thanks :)
