As we come on the 1 year anniversary of the devestating Earthquake and Tsunami it is a time for reflection in Japan. I know here in Okinawa they are having Earthquake/Tsunami Drills and alot of memorials to mark the 1 year anniversary. The website below has 43 photos alot of them are before and after photos. what a difference some of them photos look like. With the nucleaur plant still not working right and over 3000 still listed as missing with the over 15,000 confirmed dead this country will always remember this day. As a world we still hope and pray for the country of Japan and all the lives affected by the tragic events of that day..

Those before & after pictures are incredible! What on earth did they do with all of that debris and how did they move those boats?

I remember thinking last year when that earthquake/tsunami hit that I thought I saw everything BEFORE that.

Thanks for sharing!

I'm curious about the debris too (I was thinking they would sadly have a new Mountain pop up after all that devastation).

The sadness will certainly be with them for the rest of their lives but it sure is good to see that many are smiling and laughing again.
