I recently found out that my Great-Grandfather-In-Law has fell on Saturday, luckily did not have broken bones, but he's 94 & is not doing well, he has fluids in his lungs & may need to be in the Hospital until he passes away, my Grandparents have packed up & are ready to leave as early as Tomorrow, I sadly can't go because I have school . . .

I may never see him again after Christmas 2019 . . .

The next couple weeks are going to be very hard for sure . . .

Ice....I gotta say it breaks my heart to hear this....and I will pray for your Great grandfather...and all yalls family my friend...I know he is proud of you...keep the faith...and I wish y'all the best...

UPDATE: He's in a Coma-Like state, no appetite, & his Funeral has been set for a Saturday . . . I'm afraid that Nana & Papa can't go until he passes away . . .

My condolences go out to you and your family during this time. I'm so sorry to hear what's happened. May he RIP.

His Funeral has been pushed back to October 16th, reason is because it's the only day when all of his Family Members are able to be off of work & attend his Funeral . . .

It's been 4 years since your great grandfather-in-law's passing. How have you been coping? I imagine he's been in your dreams—nothing nightmarish or anything like that, just normal everyday stuff. I'm figuring that has been the case as that's how it had been with me for several years after my mother had died back in 2008. I still occasionally dream about her, and other family members who passed before and after she did, but not nearly as often as before—at least, not that I'm aware of, because we don't normally remember every dream we had during our slumber when we wake.

We've never met, of course, but you're in my thoughts.

You know what? It's only just occurred to me that your great grandfather-in-law's death and subsequent funeral occurred during the height of the pandemic. I can only imagine how that must've complicated an already difficult situation for you and other family members. Wow.
