Oscar nominations announced

The Two Towers is among the nominees for best picture so now we have to wait until the day of the oscars on march 23 to see who will be the winners among the pictures,actors and actress.
What are your favorites for the oscars?
My favorite best picture is Two Towers.

"The Hours" : Best Picture
Michael Caine: Best Actor
Nicole Kidman: Best Actress
Ed Harris: Best Supporting Actor
Julianne Moore: Supporting Actress

lol Luis..I love movies, but the Oscars bore me the most when it comes to an awards show I guess. Too ritzy for me!

I always wait for the morning-after reports...sitting in front of the tube looking for "the most revealing outfit by a female Oscar nominee" (should be in an Oscar category of its own!) followed by long, boring commentary, stale quips and heartfelt "Thanks to all the little people I had to step on to achieve this prestigious award..."
You're right...I'd rather be watching Sharon Resultan!

Being a dancer I am holding thumbs for "Chicago"...to grab the coveted best picture.

The hours is also at the top of my list.

I wish I've seen even one of those movies to be qualified to cast a vote. I'm a tightwad and usually wait for the video. Although I really want to see "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind". Have any of you seen it? I've liked Sam Rockwell ever since "Galaxy Quest".
