Feb. 13 — Propelled by the finding that Iraq has failed to remove a banned missile from its arsenal, Bush administration officials on Thursday fanned out on Capitol Hill to press for congressional support for military action on the eve of what Secretary of State Colin Powell called a “moment of truth” for the United Nations. Friday’s critical U.N. meeting will begin with what is expected to be a harsh assessment by U.N. weapons inspectors of Iraqi cooperation and conclude with a Security Council showdown over whether to go to war against Iraq or allow inspections to continue.

I wonder if it will be safe for the inspectors there anymore.

The inspectors will get a tip to leave Iraq and that will be the signal of war starting after they leave.

My guess is that they are waiting for Susan Sarandon ("JANET!"), Alec Baldwin, et al, to arrive to serve as human shields first...

I love how Iraq flexes their muscle, they let inspectors in, they find a little bit of something, then we leave...he starts up again...we get more troops in there and then he says he'll use this and that....then he gives in and complies. It is a vicious cycle and we need to breach this very soon...otherwise we're just sending troops over for an elongated mission in a troubled country.

Isn't Alec Baldwin the one that said he would leave the country if Bush won the election? I say let him go to Iraq and stay there since he doesn't want to live here. Idiot.
