Luis - the prices won't be at there lowest in two years. They'll be back to where they were before the NE blackout and the pipeline problem in Arizona.

I have noticed that the prices have gone down about 10 cents in the last two weeks. Going down another 10 cents will make us break even.

Ok Stephanie thanks for clarifying that.

Did you read that somewhere that it was the lowest in two years Luis? I was just surprised when I saw that.

At least we are seeing a drop in prices though! :D

I heard it in the radio this morning in CBS radio but I can't find a link about it around.

I'll listen for it too. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that it had been lower in the prior two years, though not by alot.

I guess I had a knee jerk reaction because I'm alittle aggravated by the prices as well!

Our gas prices are down to $1.30 a gallon... that is the lowest I can remember since pre-9/11 here.

I paid 1.46 for premium Sunday. (assuming that was what I was really getting).

Ever stop to think that these weasles would not bat an eyelash over putting regular unleaded in all their tanks, dropping the price of their premiums to lure in the customers.

I mean...how would us common slobs out there ever know?

Does anybody out there know if gas stations are ever monitored, meaning the gasoline tested to verify that what we the consumer is actually purchasing what they say it is???

I believe that back in the spring, I paid $1.28 per gallon for 87 octane. I have not seen anything close to that since. The lowest I can find anywhere right now is $1.58 per gallon. But that is still better than the $1.78 I was paying a month ago.

The gas prices here have basically fallen (going by the Wal-Mart about three minutes away) four cents two weeks ago and about four week this past week... down to $1.559.
