Arrest Warrant Issued For Lil' Kim

(Posted September 30, 2003) -- The New Jersey authorities are after Lil' Kim. The city police in Teaneck have issued a warrant for the arrest of the sexy rapper stemming from an outstanding warrant from 1996.
According to documents found on The Smokinggun.com, the rapper was supposed to appear in a municipal court after being arrested at the home of the Notorious B.I.G. in July of 1996. At the time, the now 28-year-old lyricist was supposed to show up but never did.
When the police were doing a search of Biggie's home and found a stash of weed and several handguns with the serial numbers scratched out. At the time, the rap mistress was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Biggie was slapped with a felony offense for the guns.
Big was never able to answer to the felonies because he was killed in Los Angeles before a trial could take place. Still, a warrant was issued after Kim skipped a mandatory court date for the charges.
At press time, reps for Kim weren't aware of the charges and had no comment.
