They could have at least closed the car door so the dome light wouldn't appear in the rearview mirror.

PS - you know, plant a MPH device like this and it just begs neighborhood kids to mess around with it. My daughter and her friend kept riding their bikes back and forth, trying to see how fast they could go. Surprised she didn't come home panting and with leg cramps!!! LOL She was sad when they took it away and placed it in another neighborhood!

So now, how good are "photographs" as evidence in court? That argues for old fashioned film photos. I know that they can be retouched but not as easily. Let's see, I'm a defense laywer in this alleged child abuse case where the defendent allegedly drove his car 99 mph with his kid on the hood. No hair muss, not enough kid fuss. The car's on the shoulder and would hit the mph device in about 0.03 seconds. I just kidding, I don't take this image seriously, but it makes you suspicious of any photos. Hmm. I've got this wonderful photo of me at the mountains. Too bad my ex was with me. Hmmm.... Zap him out, copy this mountain, paste it over there, copy that tree, paste it where he used to be. Voila! A perfect picture of me on vacation. Hmm, my ex needs an alibi witness? "No detective, he wasn't with me on vacation. Look at this photo... I was by myself.
