Actually, most Yankee fans that I know have no problem rubbing it in people's faces when they win. This is part of why I have always rooted against the Yankees.

Ugh, whoever wrote that email knows NOTHING about sportsmanship!!!!

As for the Sox, another loss that I hoped would be a win, but the saying is true: we wipe the slate clean next year!!! (And the Sox better get them Yanks next year! LOL)

I call the Marlins vs. Yankees match-up...the "Wicked Stepsisters Series!"

That's just because the Cubs vs. Red Sox "Cinderella Series" didn't pan out.

The teams that were eliminated in their League Championship Series should play each other in at least a best of five game series. Then the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs could play after the upcoming World Series. :D

I really don't watch Baseball but the email was an example of what any sports team doesn't want as a fan.. As I have said before the fans are an extension of the team  Better luck next year "j" and all the other sox fans. Keep the faith because there is always next year. I am a BUCCANEERS FAN..so I know believe me!!!! I know !!!!!:P

Well, I'M A BRAVES FAN and I wouldn't have room to write anything like that especially with 13 consecutive NL West (1991, 1992) and NL East (1993-2003) and ONLY 1 WORLD SERIES WIN ...

There's MANY, MANY other disappointments this season.

I'm disappointed that the Braves didn't win.
I'm disappointed that the Cubs didn't win.
I'm disappointed that the Red Sox didn't win.
I'm disappointed that the Marlins did win.
I'm disappointed that the Yankees did win.

The e-mail was all in fun Jonathan. I myself am guilty of antagonizing said individual (for example ..cutting out headlines of a huge Red Sox story in the SC Newspaper, and taping a tiny article of a Braves story next to it and leaving it on his computer..:)

By my actions I invited this harrasment. NBD....I just thought ya'll might enjoy a bit of office humour!

I take great pride in being a Red Sox fan, loyal to the bitter end, and back again next year for more torture. We stand heads and shoulders above all other Baseball fans across the country in loyalty and pride.

WHEN we get that elusive WS victory, you will see a celebration like this country has never seen before. In my bias opinion, I give the Cubs a close 2nd for being the best fans in the country. I was sad when they lost, and we didn't have that chance to meet them. In that series..there would be no loser.
